I live 500 metres away from the place and visit frequently I recently went and ordered a Veg Habanero bowl the lady working there gave me very cold rice along. I actually ignored it at the beginning but as I ate more the water kept on coming out more and I started wondering what would it be? As it made the bowl very watery and it tasted weird I even tasted it was horrible. However, i went back to get some sauce and a fork from the side as it was crowded she asked the sauce is paid, I said ok, I will pay and she said please stand in the que. which I did and the store only had 1 person working along with extremely rude manager. I stood after 3 people in the que just to get “30 cents” sauce. I came back and saw my rice bowl more liquidy and watery. I sat and tried to eat and then when I couldn’t finally took the bowl to show to the lady who made it. She couldn’t understand what I said maybe and as she asked what do you want me to do warm up the bowl for you? I said can you make another one for me as I felt there was still much food in my bowl. She said ok wait, went inside got her manager who came back took out $10 cash for me along with my bill and left it on the side of the counter and before I could understand what just happened he didn’t even stand to talk and walked off. I said excuse me can we talk he didn’t say anything I said hey & he said you got your money back and I am not making you another one. I said thats fine but can you say that to me? Instead , he came back and picked up the bowl and threw it in the dustbin and everyone in the store was staring at me. I came back to my table picked up my stuff and then went back just to order again as I needed to eat I told the lady at the front you could have also said we cannot do a new bowl she said I did not know my manager would act like that. Read moreThis location is in my home neighborhood. I walk to this specific Tim’s often. I especially walk over with my service dog a lot when the weather permits. I typically enjoy this location because they are the only ones to make my coffee correct.
However today on April 7, 2024 at 5:38pm I was denied service by the assistant manager Oneil. He was not at the cash but in the back replenishing the beverages. As I was waiting in line behind a friend he yelled that there are to be no dogs inside. He completely denied my friend being serviced as well which I found unusual if she was not the one carrying the dog. There is no signs indicating no service animals.
I asked him why if I’ve come to this location multiple times and been assisted by him and other workers while with dog before and it’s never been a problem. He gave no reasoning except attitude. Perhaps he was having a bad day but a man yelling at a woman doesn’t sit well with me. I’m an already naturally anxious person (hence the service animal) but this experience put me on edge.
I felt extremely embarrassed as he brought attention to me. I felt like I was a criminal. Being the only black customer at the time I felt I was being put on the spot felt really discriminating.
I would not recommend this location to anyone anymore after this incident. If the assistant manager doesn’t know how to talk to customers what does that represent for the rest of the staff? Do they train everyone with this...
Read moreI’m only giving 2 stars because the person who made my coffees and handed me the order was very nice. However, the lady who took my order at the cashier side is very rude and impatient. I have never experienced THIS in the morning at 10:40 on Monday Aug 3. I simply showed her my mobile app which had 2 individual coupons and already she looked angry at me and didn’t want to deal with me. I also know that I have a balance which can be used from my card, but she said that I have to have a Tims Card to use the money on the app (which DID NOT make sense, I’ve used this app in previous Tims locations with no problems). As I was proceeding to finish up my order she slaps her kiosk in an angry way to signal that I was taking too long. I completed my order, picked everything up and left unhappy. She DID NOT say “thank you, have a good day,” instead she proceeded to yell over “next customer”. I sadly didn’t catch her name, but beware of the mornings (assuming she only works...
