Au Pain Doré Bakery — Restaurant in Toronto

Really disappointed and insulted . I was next to get my latte, and as I'm getting it in the morning I am obviously rushing to work. But the barista proceeds to skip me and make the cappuccino for a guy that came a couple minutes AFTER me before my latte - just because she knows him better. Mind you, i was getting a plain old latte today so it's not like mine was delayed because it was special. So rude and offensive and making me unnecessarily late. Also their quality is inconsistent. Their matcha latte never tastes the same and when I got it yesterday, it was way too sweet and not that good. Very sad because I liked it overall and came here very often but I think I'm done coming to this place and taking my friends here, after being treated this way and having my morning soured. I guess its back to Starbucks for me. Not the best but at least they have decent customer service. Edit: both yesterday's bad latte and today's offensive behaviour was made by the same barista. Today I take great pleasure in promoting a fabulous and truly outstanding bakery in the North York area which can be located within the Finch Subway area and what is also known as The North American Centre. The Bakery I am referring to is called "Au Pain Dore" that provides an exquisite line of freshly baked pastries, breads, salads and beverages to chose from. Everything is so delicious and eloquently displayed that it becomes hard to chose which one to purchase. Everything is extremely tasty so it will depend on a daily basis on what you are in the mood for that day. The staff are very high class being warm and friendly to each and every customer they greet. June 1, 2018, 11:30am- I bought a danish and a milk for my 3 year old daughter and found that there was a hair inside the danish. Although I wasn't happy, I didn't care too much about it and I let my daughter drink the milk. After few sips of drinking milk, she said this is "yucky" and I looked at the milk expiration date, this was expired on May 29, 2018-3 days past expiration date- and the milk smelled like a rotten fish and it had the cheesy texture. I asked the employee to bring the manager and complained how they could sell expired foods. All I wanted was a sincere apology as my daughter could get sick from it. However, the manager lady said "its only few days after expiration date...so what do you want? Do you want refund?" WHATT??? How can you say that? Apology needs to come first, right?
