SERIOUSLY THE BEST BASKIN AND ROBBINS STORE IN THE GTA!!!
THANK YOU SAMANTHA, MARIA and the team!
This is my 2nd visit to this location in 2 months to order a cake for my children. My children decided on the biggest possible cake with the most decorations.
I met Samantha who advised me the cakes my children had selected were very big for my party size and offered me a list of cakes that would be better for my party.
She even showed me different samples, the materials and colours they have available in the store. We worked together for more than 30 mins before we finally settled on a cake my children would be happy with.
Samantha was super patient with me during the whole time and had the best ideas for my children's birthday cake! She's so experienced that I felt completely at ease with all her ideas and suggestions!
When I went to pick up the cake I met with the lovely Maria again! She told me that even if you see a cake on the Baskin and Robbins site that you like and it might be too big for your party size or almost what you were after (as we changed the colour of our cake) and if they have the materials in store, they will try their best to make the cake for you!
Just the most amazing customer service from Samantha and Maria! I can not thank you enough!
Please visit this store for your birthday cake needs! They have the most experienced staff that can make the most delicious...
Read moreIce Cream + Milk= Milkshake. You figure an ice cream place with actual good ice cream would have figured this out, but NO. They add syrup, for some darn reason. So now this milkshake tastes like a bucket of sugar. Halfway through drinking it I developed diabetes. I asked to purchase a cup of milk to tone down the sugar taste. They can't sell me milk because it's a franchise. So then I asked to purchase a large milkshake for my daughter, make me a small milkshake instead and put the rest of the milk in my bucket of sugar to tone down some of the sugar. To her it seemed like the transaction of the century. She put 2 drops of milk on my bucket of sugar. It made little difference of course. In desperation I asked for a cup of water. She told me she had to charge me 50 cents plus tax. I reluctantly and in desperation agreed to this. She grabs a cup and fills it with lukewarm water. I pour the water into my bucket of sugar and thankfully it makes it barely drinkable. This was the experience after I had purchased two separate ice creams and two separate milkshakes. My disappointment is inmesurable and my life is ruined. Ok, seriously now, I think a lot more could be done for the customer in this situation. I am a patron of Baskin-Robbins throughout the city once or...
Read moreI live beside this place, have been there a million times, with no issues. Last night a tall thin woman with an accent refused to serve me the ice I cream wanted. There was a scoop or 2 left, and my wife wanted a single scoop. The lady said there wasn't enough. So I said, "dont worry, my wife won't mind" (she's extremely easygoing). "No, there isn't enough." "No? No. Really? Can you take some from another tub, then finish off this?" "No, it will contaminate the tub." "But, you just said it's almost done, this will finish it and then you can get another tub" (I was being polite and respectful still). "No, then the spoon will be contaminated." Yet, HOW MANY DO THEY KEEP THESE PLACES?! I've spent hundreds of dollars here, living beside it for 10 years. Now? I won't spend another dollar there. And, honestly, the impression I got was that she wanted to eat it herself. As well, when we walked away she removed the tub. Because that last scoop or two wasn't worth anything to her, she just refused to sell it to me. That was quite possibly the rudest treatment I've received anywhere, ever. And I'd never met her, wasn't being rude. Nothing. What happened to making your customers happy? You want my money, but you're rude to me, out of...
