We had a great meal here! We went on a Sunday evening at about 9pm, it wasn't too busy and there was quite a bit of open seating. It was just under $70 for 2 hot pots and a drink. The signature spicy broth lacked some flavour (we got mild, so maybe a higher spice level would change this), but the kimchi broth was amazing! The cabbage in the kimchi broth was so good along with quail eggs. The fresh ramen noodles in the signature spicy were a bit overdone, so maybe stick to a shin ramen kind of noodle if you don't want squishier noodles. Just to be aware, the more food you put in your bowl, the more broth you're going to get. One of our 2 bowls was 0.860 and the other was 0.450; the larger one obviously got a larger bowl with more broth! The options for filling your bowl were good. The signature milk tea is unique, definitely not as sweet as other milk teas I've had but it's a great palette cleanser with your meal. The ube ice cream comes free, and it was good! I'm not a huge fan of ube flavour but it was again a nice palette cleanser after the kimchi stew. The staff were also wonderful. They explained the whole process. Gabby (I think that was her name, she had orange hair) was great, so helpful at the cashing out part and a wonderful smiling face to end off our transaction! The one area that could be improved for sure is cleanliness. One of our water cups was dirty, and from our table we had a view into the kitchen area which looked unkempt. The floor in the kitchen was soaked/flooded (?) so when the servers were walking from the kitchen out to the restaurant area, the water trailed out with them from their shoes. For a new restaurant, it's a bit concerning, especially since it was in view of customers. Despite that, the food was good, so it's a place I'd like to come back to, to try new combinations of toppings and broths. Hopefully the kimchi broth becomes a regular item menu because it was amazing!!

My husband and I visited his brother here in Ontario and we were so excited to introduce to him Big Way Hotpot as his first time! We’re from Richmond, British Columbia where the original Big Way Hotpot was born. As usual, we were so impressed with the spectacular style of food and service that the establishment had, esp in choosing your own ingredients while weighing to pay for it, plus the bonus ice cream they give to cool down your palate. I was told that this location is newly opened and is at soft opening yet and we feel so privileged to be one of the first customers to try it. I would like to give a big shout out to Puja and Gugu who welcomed us with a big heart and a big smile on their faces. They went above and beyond in everything to make their customers experience the absolute best! Please come visit this new location and experience Big Way Hotpot your way!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I dined in at Big Way hot pot k-town location. The staffs were all really nice but food was undercooked with hard-to-chew vermicelli noodles and poor meat quality. The broth also lacked depth and flavor. Overall, it was very bland and tasteless, compared to Vancouver locations. This was very disappointing because I had high expectations after having wonderful experience at their other location. I will try this place out again after their grand opening and adjust the rating if it gets better. Hope they improve.

We were a group of three and were first seated at a corner table where the lights kept flickering, which gave me a headache, so we asked to move. The next table we got was dirty, and we had to wait around 10 minutes before someone came to clean it. On top of that, no water was served, and we kept having to raise our hands just to ask for it.

When we went to get food, most of the stations were empty or mislabeled, with very little variety. The broth was just average, and the staff didn’t seem to have much knowledge about the food. I ended up wasting most of what I picked it felt like throwing money away. Service was practically nonexistent.

This was actually my second visit. The first time wasn’t good either, but I decided to give it another chance. Unfortunately, this time was even worse. My experience was...
