To be honest with you, I think I just got the wrong menu item. Looking at the reviews, I feel like their dessert based meals are more their strong points, so I’d love to come back here and try out their waffles or pancakes and such. I got the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, and this is the first place where I’ve seen spinach being put in. Not that I’m one to care about spinach, it’s a pretty yummy vegetable, but I feel like it overpowered the whole dish. At this point this is my third day in a row, eating eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, all from different places. So I think I have some credentials in judging this. 😭😅 The eggs weren’t the greatest quality, so the egg taste wasn’t strong in the first place, and the spinach easily overpowered everything. The smoked salmon did have taste individually as well, but again, was overpowered by the spinach. Spinach also famously retains a lot of moisture, so it was very…wet. Unnecessarily. The potatoes were nice, it was crispy and had a lot of flavour to it. I also got the pineapple juice alongside it, and it was all right as well. Despite the very mid food, the service was great! I think I got a relatively new waitress, and she’s very excitable and a very fun person to be around. Thank you guys for serving me and for the great hospitality! :D The atmosphere was nice as well, there’s a lot of seating, especially booth seats, which I enjoy. The service was quick as well, my food got ordered and came to me quickly. I’d love to come back and try the other items on the menu, as I think I just got something that didn’t suit my taste. Thank you so much for having me! :)

Not a happy camper. Breakfast with my sister and although the table service and food give nothing to complain about, the bill does. We start with Boom Lattes, which are followed by the Huevos Burrito, the Benny Boom (Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon) and two regular coffees. Although more expensive than the traditional breakfasts which include coffee, neither of these meals offer a cup of java. The meal continues with a Caesar and I pay by debit. The shocker comes later as I check my bank account and find the restaurant has twice deducted the total amount of the bill. Calling the bank, I am informed it is a terminal issue and to call the restaurant. Being after 4 PM with the restaurant closed, I have to wait. Meanwhile, an extra 60 dollars and 19 cents is out of my account. Getting hold of the Manager, he tells me that since I used my debit card and not my credit card, that I MUST go to the restaurant for him to issue the refund. I don’t exactly live close by and so, I now have to trek back for an issue that is not of my making. Have YOU checked your debit account lately for double dipping?

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Boom Breakfast, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, perfect for a delightful meal. Our server, Rosemary, was exceptional. She was attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Her warm demeanor and professional service truly enhanced our dining experience. The food was equally impressive. We ordered a variety of dishes, including a delicious avocado sandwich, a stack of fluffy pancakes topped with fresh strawberries and bananas, and a hearty breakfast platter with perfectly scrambled eggs, crispy potatoes, and fresh fruit. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Boom Breakfast to anyone looking for a fantastic meal in a great atmosphere. Special thanks to Rosemary for making our visit memorable. We'll definitely be returning soon!

*not even 1 , 0 stars. Honestly the first time I refused to stayed and had to cancel my order and immediately got up and left with my family. No food is worth having to put up with what we endured from the waiter. Came in with my mom and little sister yesterday, and we got seated, everything was alright until the waiter came to take our orders. First off I've had waiters who were not good, but this was the worst waiter I've had. She had such a nasty attitude when she talked, constantly rolled her eyes whenever we said or asked something. I told her my order and I was super straight forward and she kept making it complicated and pointing to all these other meals on the menus and when I told her okay but this is what I wanted, she rolled her eyes and was like "thats what I'm saying" like no.. its not.. she's just making it difficult and pointing to all these stuff that I'm not asking for and getting mad when I'm not saying what she wants to me to say. She even had the nerve to roll her eyes, give an annoyed sigh, grab the menu out of my little sisters hand and slam it on the table.. like how do you snatch something out of a 3 year olds hand? She wasn't even doing anything wrong , she was just holding it. And when she asked how much eggs I wanted and I was thinking she gets extremely short with me, like what's wrong her if she's so short with people she shouldn't be dealing with people. And when I asked her if we can have French toast (which it's literally normal to get served toast at breakfast places when waiting for food) she's like "oh that's a lot of food so just wait till you get this food and order the toast after" and she's saying it all in a really rude tone like she wants everything to be her way. Than I explained that I went to another location before and they served us toast while we were waiting and she just rolls her eyes and is like "I know I know but that's a lot of food I'm saying to eat this one first than order toast after" like ??? Why does she care about how much we can eat and what we can't, she's acting like we must eat our plates clean or something or like the food is coming out her paycheck or something. I literally just had to cut her off and said "ok nevermind than" about the toast. Ive literally went to other places and ordered a whole bunch of meals, and you know what the waiters did? Their job. Which is taking the order that the customer wants and is literally paying for. She's a white old lady with glasses and short white hair, like if she hates her job so much she should retire she looks like she's old enough to consider it. If she's so miserable or is having a bad day, she shouldn't project it on other people. Like literally look for a new job if you can't have patience with people, we were nice to her and everything and she gave one of the worst services we've ever received (for literally no reason). I also had to deal with feeling bad because i was the one who suggested coming here, and this is what we got, its embarassing. We came to have breakfast after my mom came back from traveling and her negativity...

Food is good, service is terrible. Today I went in to order takeout and the lady was so rude I had to walk out, she didn’t apologize or try to mend things - she just chuckled and let me leave. Another time my girlfriend and I dined in, the food was fine but when I asked for the bill the waitress asked me how much I was giving her for a tip - it caught me off guard so I asked her for the machine to pay and then she asked me for to tip cash so it can go straight to her instead of kitchen. Then she asked me again how much I was tipping her so I told her $5. She then had the audacity to tell me that wasn’t enough and after I payed cash she took a $10 tip from my change back and I had to confront her about it - the manager asked what happened and I let her know that my waitress knew what she did. My assumption is that she didn’t think I would tip because I’m a younger black guy but I’ve been eating here since I was a boy (grew up at college ossington) but after today ~attempting to get takeout met with the snarkiest attitude. I think that’s going to close this 20 year chapter with boom breakfast. Food is good though, service is probably good if you don’t look like me but if you do look like me, give another...
