PLEASE NOTE THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE BAKERY AT HEAD OFFICE ON INDUSTRY STREET WHERE THE CAKES ARE MADE AND ORDERED NOT THE STORE The service is very bad AT HEAD OFFICE, especially when it comes to resolving mistakes on their part. I ordered cake for my daughters birthday, I described and showed them everything I wanted on and inside the cake, however I got something way off on the day of my daughter's birthday. They kept telling it's the bakers mistake smh of which I believe is true. They decided to fix the cupcakes of which she said in an hour they would be ready but I gave them 2hrs so that it would not be a rush job. After 2hrs I went to pick up the cupcakes and everything seemed to be ok on the outside but when everyone was eating they could hardly finish one cupcake because the dough was discusting it was not what I asked for secondly j asked for mouse inside the cake and it was not there. Now when it came to resolving the issue I was asked to call Jessica who they say is the head office manager. All I got from her was rudeness and attitude. She tried to convince that everything was according to what I wanted.To make matters worse she also hung up the phone on me, more like slamming it. I ended up calling the bakery back where I ordered the cakes and I was told that their boss would call me back, it's been 2 days now and no call back. Sounds petty but this was my daughter's birthday. Never order birthday cake from Head office, your birthday will be ruined. I was the only one arranging everything for the birthday this caused me alot of stress the one thing that should go right lol. Now I know why they have so many bad reviews. Hi, I come here very often. I have sampled across this place and them time out of 11 times that I’ve been here or multiple times that I’ve been here. I really liked the dessert. I usually get the same dishes like the same shrimp and empanadas and meat empanadas and they’re really good and this time I ordered Something different like a different dessert which were macaroons and there were so delicious. I really enjoyed them and I wanted to write a review because you know I wanted to get feedback on the macaroons. I have received the worst and rudest customer service here this morning. I walked in and asked two questions about their bread(which they had a very small selection of even at 7am). I then settled for some buns and I asked for a little bit of cheese. At this point the woman behind the counter let out the biggest, loudest sigh and (literally) threw the cheese into the cutting machine. The whole time she made sure to make it very obvious how much of an inconvenience it was for her to do her job. She also only used one glove to handle the cheese and was touching it with the other hand which she used for handling cash and register ( not very good health practice especially during a pendemic) There is never any place for rude service or unsanitary practices but it is even more puzzling when it takes place at times when so many businesses are going under and people are losing their jobs.
