I am an old customer of canbe since 2016-2017 , i always take samosa as take out and enjoy the samosas , This time me and my wife decided to take samosa bag which canbe sell uncooked , we got bag of 50 pieces, i paid money and i got some 30 pieces cooked as well to have it for same day for our family, After a week we had guests in our house and when my wife opened the uncooked pack of samosas , it turned out that we had only 34 pieces instead of 50 and she called me and showed me and i asked her if she used before but that time she opened the sealed packet but then i consider it was my fault coz i didn’t check while buying and neither we have any recording of opening the seal and counting coz i don’t believe anyone does that , we trusted canbe for that but this is what it was
So 2 things are possible in this scenario, I really wanna believe it’s a Genuine mistake from packaging but even that is canbe’s responsibility to make sure this won’t happen with customers or it’s a trick to make more profit which i don’t think canbe will go so down to make money like this.
Anyways , those 16 samosas are not even $10 but the point is as a customer now my trust is shaken , next time i am counting things and then only buying it for sure.
I hope management will make sure to show this to the responsible person for the packaging that how their mistakes affects the business and this happened with me but i hope management will take this seriously and make sure this won’t repeat with other customers in future.

Read moreI wish there was negative rating, i would have definitely given it. The stuff is very Bad.. i would have used the word rude. But they are not rude just very bad at customer service. I try to search them on skip last Friday when the restaurant open in morning but I couldn’t see it on skip i called them .. and even after the call they took 2 hours to log in app on skip then i order food on Saturday and they took 15 mins and still order was not confirmed eventually skip had to cancel order.. then i called again to complaint hoping i should be able to get my order this time still did not happen.. i placed order again today through app. Waited more than 15 mins for canbe to confirm order. And while on wait i call them and asked them to confirm it.. the rep was on call with me still she did not confirm the order and when i hang up call the order was decline again as restaurant did not approve it on time.. and now i am never gonna order from them.. the worst experience i have.. they don't even give phone to manager for complaint i called in morning, then noon then evening and every time they said they don't have manager or owner who can take complaint. I did visit your Scarborough branch today.
I did visit your store today to get some veg samosas (as I do every week). After my billing, I picked up my food and returned to the car. As soon as I reached my vehicle, I saw that one of your samosas was half cut. (It's a 40 cents samosa so it doesn't make any difference). Whereas, being a regular customer I thought it might affect your brand so I went inside to inform your cashier.
The lady working there just ruined my day. As soon as she was informed about the samosa. she gave me a super angry look like I am a homeless guy looking for free food. Instead of listening to me she just handed me a samosa in another pack with very rude behavior.
Additionally, I am a vegetarian Hindu. That cashier lady gave me a Non-vegetarian samosa. I am not sure if it's a mutton samosa or a chicken one. I have attached a photograph too.
