No frills looking Chinese bakery with many items being as cheap as it can be. Best item in their store is the chicken pies. Everything else is just average. You will definitely find better elsewhere, but not for the prices you see here. Egg tarts came in a pack for the ones I saw. And it was 6 for $6 which comes out to $1 each. Cannot beat that price. The sponge cakes are huge, but tasted off. Also tried some steamed buns. Just ok. Supermarket ones tasted better. All in all, if you want cheap, this is your place. If you want something that tastes great, not your spot. Service was good though. People working there always trying to strike a deal to get increased sales. Parking lot isn’t big and during the day, it’s not too bad finding a parking spot. Once night time hits, it’s like a zoo, so be weary of that.

I guess I won't disappoint to buy buns anywhere if the buns are fresh and its prices are reasonable. I bought the bus here, not only this Chinese Bakery shop open more than decade, but also its reasonable price. Months ago, I thought this bakery was closed forever. Surprisingly, the shop was under renovation. Today, I found this bakery reopened. If your family loves sweet or meats buns and any Chinese traditional styles buns, you will love the pineapple red bean buns, pineapple bbq pork, etc... I do not care about other reviews. I will come back as I don't buy much and price is affordable. Of course, my review can be updated with the latest posts.

Great prices for the GTA in 2023, September Most stand alone buns are $1.25 or $1.50 all individually wrapped. Other places charging $1.80 like the Akko Cake Shop in Mississauga and always low in stock.

Pineapple Bun (bbq pork filling) Great moist bread, pleasant sweet pineapple topping, and thick bbq meat filling. Subjectively a 89%.

Cream bun Great moist bread, the cream was medium fat and sweet. The cream is the most important part of this bun and was a little bit above average. A White person or a Banana (Asian yellow on the outside and white personality on the inside) would like more fat/butter in the cream and it could be a bit more sweeter. An Asian person would probably find the bun just right in fat and sweetness....
