My 10min experience at this location was a complete waste of time.
The staff today were very incompetent, service was 👎 when a business is being run, maybe greet the customer when they walk in? a simple hello 👋 goes a long way..if you are busy with other orders, this can also be done while multitasking, a smile, a head nod, common sense, eye contact 👀😊communicate with them and say, I’ll be with you in a minute.
The atmosphere here was VERY VERY sketchy, trashy even!! The worst Coco location I have ever came across!! I thought it would be nice because it’s in the south side of Etobicoke but the place looked run down, and the person working had her back turned away the entire time not giving a damn who walks into the store. If she did care one bit, she would acknowledge the people waiting in line for her. Nope 👎
I’m so grateful this experience happened the way it did 😊 I ended up leaving (I don’t have time for that❌) found an awesome overpriced Turkish coffee spot (a minute walk away) with delicious desserts and over the top customer service where I chose to spend my money at instead.
Reading the reviews at this particular location, I’m really glad I chose to walk away and grateful I found a better spot in the process instead.
To whoever was working today, Great job to you😊🙌 Work on your skills girl. Maybe this...
Read moreThis is my 2nd time visiting this location as it’s closer to me than Mississauga ones. Drinks taste fine but as others have mentioned, this location lacks customer service. I walked in (no other patrons) and there were two staff behind the counter. I approached the cashier and said hi, she didn’t acknowledge my presence. She was glued to the tablet and punching in mobile orders for what felt like an eternity. She finally looked up, didn’t say hi, just wanted to take my order… i understand that they were likely understaffed and had more orders than they can handle but for me to wait TWENTY minutes to get two standard drinks isn’t acceptable. The man making the drinks had one of my drinks made but proceeded to make drinks for another order… after making two taro slushees(?) he put my milk tea together… then left it sitting in the sealing machine and by this time the cashier lady was on the other side mixing drinks. During all this another customer came in and he too stood there unnoticed. Very bad vibe in this shop compared to the one I’ve been to on Hurontario and Central Parkway. Even though those locations are farther I prefer not to waste my time idling in the store… will not return to...
Read moreA great addition to the Islington Village strip and Bubble Tea in this area! With street parking along Dundas St. West, there's available parking nearby. They are on Snappy (online website) and UberEats as well.
In the past, we have ordered the Bubble Gaga, Passion Fruit Green Tea, Grapefruit Green Tea and Winter Melon Juice from this location. The quality and quantity are consistent with others in the chain. To make it easier, make sure you know what to order (beverage type, size amount, ice amount, sugar levels and toppings). Out of the four listed preferences, we prefer the Bubble Gaga (Passion Fruit Tea with Coconut Jelly and Pearls, comes in Large only) and the Winter Melon Juice (with Grass Jelly). We usually prefer Coco as they offer the Sago option.
Service is a little bit slow and hit or miss on the customer service like other reviewers. It depends on the time and who you get on shift. We have been there two times and have different speeds of turnaround. The issue could be customer flow-dependent or not staffed enough as it is a weird choice franchise destination. Otherwise, we appreciate the addition to the area to bring closer better...
