CoCo’s mantra must be dependability, because I know unquestionably that it exists a head and a half above its peers in its consistency. Really, go to any CoCo store across the GTA - hell, even Canada - and youā€˜ll get the gist: simple, no-frills menu and capable toppings. I’d know, I have a crippling addiction and I’ve been probably 100 times across 3 provinces. Even though I no longer frequent them for their regular-priced offerings as I find them a bit extraneous following CoCo’s yearly increases, I looove their promotions - sometimes unique, but forever a steal for the price! - STRAWBERRY LATTE (or slush) ($7.1 as of Aug 2025) I dub thee nectar of the gods, my favourite CoCo drink ever! Toppings aren’t even needed for this one - it stands on its own with its abundance of chewable fruit pieces. Indeed, strawberry pulp adorns the bottom of this creamy cup, flush with fresh milk that transforms it into a heavenly and aesthetically pleasing pink euphoria. I find this drink to be the perfect balance between lovers of heavy cream milk tea and refreshing fruit teas. Suggested topping: brown sugar pearls ($1.20). An afternoon of bliss. Thank me later. I also wept real tears when its price went up from $6.5. I can no longer afford you, CoCo Strawberry Latte… please promo this again, CoCo, I beg!!! So why not 5 stars? As mentioned, they’ve priced the cheapskates (me) out by raising their regular costs to a point I’d prefer to seek out fresher options, especially given that many of their options are powder-based. Also, sans Strawberry Latte my deep beloved, their items aren’t terribly inventive - they don’t keep around many of those exotic monthly releases. The chain is also consistent on one more thing, and that’s their utter refusal to do substitutions. I understand you, CoCo. I can’t ask you to be something you’re not. But if you wonder why I’ve been seeing other stores, this is why šŸ˜” More things to consider: - Loyalty program! Buy 10 drinks = 1 free drink! Just ask to enter your number, or buy through their app :) - Tends sweet. Go for 50% sugar. - Unlike drinks, the quality of service varies: often kind, sometimes apathetic (e.g. guy on phone for 10 minutes, and because I’m a pushover, I just wait it out quietly lol). Rushes may occur. In any case, it’s important to be empathetic. Consider the pressure employees are facing! - Corporate CoCo customer service sucks and isn’t lenient on anything - good luck trying to remediate a faulty drink, because they won’t. - Check your order before you leave. I said consistent, and that means maybe a 2 in 100 chance they’ll completely forget sugar or add ice when you specified none.

The service I received during my recent visit to this location was frustrating and disheartening. When I entered the store, I was greeted with silence from the staff, despite my attempt to greet them with a friendly ā€œhello.ā€ After placing my order, I felt that the staff member was not only unresponsive but also displayed a rude attitude throughout the interaction. They did not acknowledge me properly and seemed dismissive when I asked a question about the menu. It was disheartening to experience such poor customer service, especially in a business that prides itself on providing a welcoming atmosphere. I understand that everyone has off days, but basic courtesy and respect should always be a standard when interacting with customers. The drinks that I got which was full of pearls and I only got 1/4 cup of the milk tea itself. They also didn’t label my orders which made it confusing. The photo that I provided was to prove how much pearls was left inside my drink even after taking out a lot already. I hope you take this complaint seriously and address this issue with the staff. Great customer service is key to retaining customers, and unfortunately, my experience was far from the standard I’ve come to expect from Coco Milk Tea.

I’m writing this review while waiting for my order because the service I just experienced was disappointing and unprofessional. I genuinely don’t understand why someone would choose to work in customer service if they aren’t willing to demonstrate basic manners or work ethic. The staff member who took my order (the larger man with glasses) appeared visibly annoyed and disinterested from the start even though my order was simple. When I politely asked where to input my number for points during payment, he snapped back, ā€œYou pay before we put your points in,ā€ in a rude and accusatory tone, as if I wasn’t going to pay. That kind of attitude is completely uncalled for and reflects poorly on the store. I strongly suggest that management provide additional training and coaching to this employee. His behavior impacts not only the customer experience but also the overall image of your business. Additionally, I’d like to point out that it’s uncomfortable and unprofessional when employees speak in another language (in this case, Chinese) around customers. It gives the impression they may be speaking about the customers, which can feel disrespectful and exclusionary.

If I can put a zero star review, this will be the one. I received a notification regarding their BOGO deal on boxing day through their vicinity point system. When I arrived at the store and mentioned it to the staff, they said I have to use it the next day when I cant use it on my friend who is ordering next. I explained I was never told about this and it was not listed on the text message, I even showed her but she continued on telling me to speak to the cashier. Moreover, she added that if i want to use it, I have to line up again which makes no sense to me how that waiting in line again will make a difference. Despite all the difficulties and attitude she gave, me and my friend patiently waited till our turn and nicely asked the cashier. Again, not only they refuse to take care of the problem , they gave me attitude and disregard our presence to take the next customer. Their reason was because that ā€œpolicyā€ is listed on the coupon that I can only receive when i purchase a drink, which explained through a rude tone from the cashier. Also, they said if I want to complain I have to speak to the ā€œmanagerā€, who completely ignor us and did not even bother doing anything. This is false advertising and EXTREMELY unprofessional service. If this was to be dealt with nicely, I would’ve let it go. Also, if this is how your business run, it is not...
