Coffee Time — Restaurant in Toronto

Hi, I just wanted to say that I really like the pastries at the coffee time there is this one pastry I get every day and I mean the other pastries look really good and they’re probably really good and I’m not picky when it comes to eating like pastries but honestly, there is like a chocolate fritter, walnut fritter and strawberry fritter or I don’t know yet confused with the flavors, but I think there’s like a walnut chocolate and strawberry and every time I order the fritter it’s so good and very moist and sweet and I really like the atmosphere it’s very clean. There’s not a lot of people in the coffee shop. There’s just me and my family and sometimes the other people leave the coffee shop and we’re the only ones who stay in the coffee shop for longer. And that’s what I like about the coffee shop, nice atmosphere and I like how I always order this fritter and there is this popular drink that I usually get which is S’mores Chilla and I really like it because it has a lot of like chunks of cookies and it’s really good and I get it every so often I come to the coffee shop and yeah, the coffee shop is really nice. The service is fine I like the service but when I like the most is the pastries but yeah, I’m a very picky eater. I definitely did not like the sandwich. I ordered a sandwich with everything on it and I did not like it because the sandwich have a lot of flavour or maybe it was just me like I just didn’t like it. The only reason why it was because I was hungry but I guess if the food tasted better, I would order the sandwich or maybe I ordered a sandwich that was not good and didn’t like it but maybe the crispy sandwich was good ordered instead because I ordered a sandwich that was in crispies chicken the food looks OK I mean I personally wouldn’t really try the food. I’m very disappointed with my experience at this Coffee Time location. A couple of weeks ago, I visited the store and noticed that the parking spots reserved for Coffee Time were completely occupied by non-customers. When I politely brought this to the attention of so called manager, instead of addressing the concern professionally, she mocked and made fun of me.

I’m not even sure if she is actually the manager or the owner of the place, because she behaved like someone who doesn’t care at all about proper management or customer service. I have been a regular customer for past years and have witnessed some other instances of this persons disrespectful behaviour to customers and also to other staff members.

I emailed Coffee Time’s customer service right after this incident, but even after weeks, there has been no response or action. That’s the only reason I’m posting this review publicly , so that higher management becomes aware of what’s happening at this location. A Disappointing Start to the Day at Coffee Time My recent morning visit to Coffee Time for breakfast was unfortunately a letdown. I was hoping for a quick and pleasant start to my day, but the experience left much to be desired. The coffee, a crucial component of any breakfast, was particularly disappointing. It had a distinct burned smell and taste, making it quite unpalatable. It's clear the brew was far from fresh or properly prepared. Equally unappetizing were the potatoes. They tasted old and excessively greasy, as if they'd been sitting for a long time. The final insult was witnessing them being heated in a microwave, which only contributed to their poor texture and flavor. Overall, the quality of the breakfast items I received at Coffee Time was far below expectations.
