this place is delicious but I feel like someone has to let them know what's going on with their UberEats system. They always have a deal on for buy 1 get 1 free donaire poutine, and it says a Donaire poutine is $10.99 by default. But you have to select a size, and a small is +$15.99. Not an additional $5 to bring the price up to 15.99, but an additional $16 on top of the already existing $11 price, so to order a single small poutine for delivery comes out to $32, and that's before tipping the courier. Now the next problem arises because of the way buy 1 get 1 free works on UberEats when you select option that have additional fees. You get the second base item for free, but any priced add-ons have to be paid for for both items, which is fair, but that means that even if you're only getting a small poutine, not only does the buy 1 get 1 deal (which it automatically adds to your order, you actually have to specifically opt out if you only want one) not really exist, it's actually more expensive to try to do the buy 1 get 1 deal than it would be to go into the store and buy 2 small poutines, as it comes out to over $50 before tip to try to claim the Uber eats b1g1. I have to assume this is a clerical error and not an intentional scam, because I can't imagine anybody is actually trying to claim this "deal" and not just ordering something else instead. Even if there was no catch to the b1g1 deal, paying $26+taxes+order fees+delivery tip for a single small poutine is not viable. As I said, the food here is delicious, and if you're passing by it's absolutely worth stopping in. But if you want to order takeout from them, they need to fix what I assume are mistakes on the way their UberEats...

Ordered delivery today through their own website. Got a call about an hour prior to my scheduled delivery (6 PM), informing me that their debit and credit machines are down and to pay cash.

Luckily, I had $100 cash on hand so I confirmed they should go ahead with the delivery.

Upon the driver's arrival, he had no change of any kind. Not sure why they didn't let their delivery driver come prepared knowing they cannot accept cards at the moment, and made no mention of the driver having no change on him when calling me to request I pay in cash?

I then had to walk to my local corner store and withdraw $40 plus ATM fee to pay for my $33.50 pizza, while the delivery person waited in his car in my building's parking lot. Again, driver had no change so he left with an $7 tip I felt was not entirely deserved.

Too bad. I love this place and the pizza is consistently very good, but they do not react well when dealing with interrupted service and put the onus entirely...
