Update - - I find that when I order shawarma from this restaurant, it is important to customize the shawarma to your taste. In particular, it is important to ask the person preparing the shawarma to really smother it with garlic sauce. That's where the distinctly pleasant flavour is rooted, in my opinion. - - End of Update The service person is good-natured, he makes good food efficiently, and he keeps track of who arrived when. The Shawarma at this location is particularly unique. The person who referred me to this restaurant swears by the Shawarma as being the best, anywhere; and I can see what he was talking about. The shawarma is very good. It has a very unique composition and flavour. I have also had other shawarma that is also very good, but different in composition and flavour. So, you will find that the shawarma here will fill a particular need. It is one of those flavours that you will desire exclusively once in a while. It will be pleasing to everyone in a general sense, but for Shawarma Connoisseurs, it will be a significant addition to the shawarma pallete which the Connoisseur can choose to yield for particular situations or in the company of particular companions. It is similar to desiring a particular Burger Joint over another. Sometimes you desire a burger from one place, and other times you will desire a burger from another place. Both burgers are pleasing and significant, but they both fill unique gastronomical needs at different times. I highly recommend the shawarma here. They serve many other hot...
Read moreThis shawarma place is the worst shawarma place I've ever been to. If you pay attention to the reviews you'll notice that a lot of the 5 star reviews are by individuals with less than 5 or even one review? After trying this place, because of all the amazing reviews , I am highly convinced that all of these positive reviews are fake. The portion of the shawarma is incredibly tiny. It is so tasteless, and there is no taste or sight of any toppings except shredded lettuce. Sadly, I there is more flavour in a McDonald's burger! The beef shawarma is terrible!!! The meat is incredibly old and bad quality! It tastes like mashed liver! This is likely because during the entire wait, I haven't seen a single order of the beef and the meat looked incredibly dry and stale (unfortunately it tasted much worse) because it has been sitting on the rotator for too long! I would never recommend for anyone to eat here. This was one of the worst meals I've ever had. I have tried countless of shawarma places and they have all been much better in taste, portion, and quality. We couldn't finish the beef one because it tasted extremely off and had to throw it out. Additionally, be aware of the pricing: we were originally told that the special means "two shawarma". After ordering one chicken and one beef (to try both) we were then charged more. They did end up giving back a dollar after I explained the issue to them. I'm disappointed and very surprised by how bad these shawarma were, especially after seeing the many positive reviews...
