Visited today and ordered 2 beef halim and jhalmuri. Paid and waited atleast half an hour. Jhalmuri was totally salty with too much cold ghughni.was impossible to taste even. So I had to complain to another lady named Mimi. She apologies with well mannered on behalf of the girl Mim and replaced the jhalmuri. Haleem was unbelievable. Mim made it too spicy and gave fried onions, coriander leaves only. It was also impossible to eat a single spoon. In those 30mins we watched Mim, she was too busy to attend every customer but not giving proper service at all. She took one order over phone and when the customer came to collect,she was forgets his order. Again the another woman, Mimi came and apologies on behalf of Mim and served the customer gently. Another customer ordered fuchka before us. He was also in que. Because the girl is only taking orders but doing nothing. When the plate was served, it was terribly dirty with eggs and coriander. That customer was annoyed and asked for replacement to her but she disagree to replace. So the customer left the fuchka on the table as it was and left the place with disappointments. Actually she was not serving any customer attentively. She was taking orders only and made messed up. She was cleaning tables and trays Infront of us without gloves and served customer with her same dirty hands each time. We requested her not to do this. Mim came to us and said sorry for her bad service. And added that she is too tired and couldn't able to concentrate because she is working since last 7days in different times with long hours. Why should we suffer by paying money for her irresponsible service? We didn't enjoy our food just because of her negligence.we're really disappointed about the service from the girl Mim. Honorable owner please understand she is just a student and if you force her to work more than 20hrs,it's a illigeal in toronto.she made too many mistakes in one evening. Why don't you hire more people? She was taking orders without proper listing even.seems she was in a hurry.
Almost every morning breakfast time ,one lady wearing hijab behavior is so bad and mannerless. She is so rude and her commanding voice with customers are really unacceptable. We ordered first but in half way our break fast we have to wait for our paratas because they served our other 3paratas to another customer. How could this would be a customer service,when you don't even properly served to first customer of his everything. Why I have to wait halfway of my meals? We're hungry and because of that we went early not for making fun there. This how you're giving customer service everyday and people like us who are depends on you have to accept your illogical rules and bad service. Think about my experience. Yes you don't bother about my experience but don't forget it's too late for you to an end. Thanks.

I visited last week only to find that the customers were walking around maskless (back and forth to the washroom, garbage disposal, cash counter), which is to be expected BECAUSE THE PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE DON'T WEAR MASKS!!! Why should the customers wear masks when those handling the food, preparing the orders and serving the customers face-to-face don't wear them?
I brought this to their attention and very quickly the masks were back in place - but not for long. Again yesterday, their masks were off. Again I reminded them.
I was there today with a friend, and as soon as they saw me at the door, they pulled up their masks. Which only means that they DO NOT keep them on and that THEY WOULD BE OFF AGAIN AS SOON AS I LEFT!
As far as I know, this area still has one of the lowest percentages of vaccination rates, and it shows when local community restaurants SERVING RESIDENTS OF THEIR OWN COMMUNITY AND BACKGROUND don't care.
Sorry, but I will be boycotting this restaurant. If they don't care about the community, then I don't care about them.

June 27, 2021 Just tried another dish from this little restaurant. They don't have a huge menu, but everything has a huge deliciousness AND IS NOT taking a huge $$ amount from your pocket. Totally enjoyed the Khichuri vuna and chicken curry AND the veggie pakoras!

I remember 2 instances where I had found hair in my paratha which was later exchanged, new got a new one not caring too much about the strand of hair in the previous paratha and the same thing happened another day too, I wasn’t offered a discount or anything which I was okay with at that point of time. We ordered a beef curry for takeout, it was delicious and spicy, while I was eating I came across a dead fly 🐝, yes a whole dead fly on my plate and to my surprise a lil strand of hair too. My sibling who are very young had their curry with rice too, they’re usually on their ipad while eating, what in the world would I do if they had consumed the fly?? IM DISGUSTED.
