I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at your Danforth location on Saturday, 15th August 2024, at approximately 10:50 PM.
I visited the store specifically to order a Mango Diamond Slushy, which includes mango chunks. However, I was informed by the front staff that they did not have any mango chunks available. This was particularly frustrating as I could see the staff cleaning the juicers, shelves, and performing other closing duties, despite it being 70 minutes before the official closing time at midnight.
There were mangoes visibly available, and I believe that the staff should be knowledgeable about preparing the mango chunks, especially since there are instructional videos playing at the store demonstrating this process. I drove for 25 minutes specifically to enjoy this drink, only to leave empty-handed due to the staff’s refusal to fulfill my order.
The guy at the front told me that they are closing when I specifically told him that you guys close at midnight, why are you doing the closing duties and don’t wanna make the order and he didn’t have an answer for that. I worked in a restaurant too, and the closing duties are supposed to be done not before half an hour of the closing time for a busy restaurant too but this is just a small location of bubble tea and smoothies. They shouldn’t do that. I was highly dissatisfied.

The manager refused, and said they don’t put tapioca into the small sizes?? Even though I paid for it? I have never had this problem before. Next for our other order, I have a young nephew and (1.5 years old) and he liked to eat the mango chunks so I asked if she could put the mango chunks into a separate cup instead of the drink and she refused that as well. We said that other places have given us this without any issues and she said “which location? I will complain to the regional manager against them”. Then she charged me for extra mango chunks and said she would do it one time for us. Once we got the drinks she didn’t give us the mango chunks and said “no we don’t do that I just put them into the drink” which is not what we asked for and she charged us for. I beleive it was the manager of the location. This occurred at 6PM on April 30th. One other thing I’ve noticed is that the staff here don’t acknowledge you at all when you are waiting to place your order. It’s common courtesy in customer service to say something like “Hello, I will be there in a moment” or something. But nothing here they just pretend like you don’t even exist. It’s so weird...
