All the way from London, ON visited Falcha Restaurant, Scarborough for the first time. I have tried many dishes across different cities of Ontario but believe me this spot hits different when it comes to Hakka/Nepali food and culture. From its Aureola to its service everything was spectacular. I’ve tried many dishes, and haven't been disappointed. Falcha have enormous assorts of flavors plus great customer friendly staff. Every staff is quiet friendly but one of them named “PRISMA” was exceptional in her service as she helped us deciding food items to try like Mix Bara, Thakali and few of the cultural drinks that made our family dinner night more special. Moreover, I’ve also tried Steamed Momo, Chili Momo (my personal Fav from Falcha and kuddos to chef Subash), Fired Momo, Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Manchurian, pani puri, chatpatey. Every dish we tried had unique flavour with blend of spice (customer choice). The portions were more than enough. Each and every staff member is welcoming and friendly. The service for food was quick and accurate.
Overall I will say Falcha ambience is inviting, the service is impeccable and flavours are a delightful journey for the taste buds. Can’t say much about this place as this place can’t be measured in words. It’s a place where u can feel ur ethnicity with love and care by enjoying your favourite meal. “FALCHA” a place that’ll make u feel like home.

Read moreThe food was underwhelming, lacking the bold and distinctive flavors that define authentic Newari cuisine. The momo achar, for instance, was utterly bland, devoid of even the slightest hint of timmur’s signature kick. The choila—whether chicken or buff—could have been vastly improved with a proper toss in mustard oil, which would have enhanced its depth and aroma.
The chicken chowmein was equally disappointing, a complete waste of high flame. Preparing a good chowmein isn’t rocket science—simply heat a wok, add oil, toss in chili sauce, fry the chicken separately before transferring it to the wok, incorporate fresh vegetables, stir-fry briefly, then finish with ginger-garlic paste, noodles, soy sauce, and a splash of white wine vinegar. This straightforward process delivers an authentic taste, yet the dish fell flat.
The choila set, once again, lacked any real flavor, making the overall experience quite underwhelming. While I appreciate the effort to stay competitive in the market, branding the food as authentic Nepali should mean delivering on that promise. That said, I’m open to giving it another try, hoping for a noticeable improvement in...
Read moreHeard alot about this place. Falcha, the name itself feels like a authentic newari/nepali restaurant. Honestly went there with a 0 expectation. Ambience was pretty nice and cozy and reflects some nepali architecture around the counter.I saw few reviews saying about the late service and waiting time but for us, that was not the case. We got our table as soon as we enter and orderd few things.Everything was good until we started getting our food on the table. Chilly momo was too oily, momo were very small and very bland. we orderd a newari khaja set which I thought would be really nice. Honestly I am not trying to be greedy but the quantity was too less. We literally got 3 small pieces of chicken,3 pieces of alu ko achar on the side. Not trying to be greedy here but incomparsion with other restaurants, price was too high and quantity was too less. It was my first time trying yomari(chaku one) and if it is the real taste, I will never have yomari again in my life. Overall taste was mediocre, have been to many restaurants in canada which serves really tasty nepali cuisines. Falcha will not be on my goto restaurant list for nepali...
