A hidden gem within Hart House. While I've only dined here once, the cafe is a regular part of my mornings. The friendly baristas serve up propeller coffee and an assortment of sinfully delicious pastries that I only occasionally indulge in. The dining experience was top notch with attentive service and perfectly executed dishes. My only complaint is that they close at 2pm, just a little too early for my afternoon coffee fix!

Location and ambience makes this place the ๐ŸŒŸ Star ๐ŸŒŸ Located on level one of the Hart House overlooking the famed great hall below,expect to experience wonderful food and service from the staff. The food quality is excellent.locally sourced sustainable items plus seasonal change of their menu keeps me excited for all my visits ๐Ÿ˜ƒ TIP: Don't miss the sweet caricature of the yesteryears professors on the glass windows.

I could be biased, or maybe itโ€™s because Iโ€™m so used to eating out fast food and that my taste buds will go crazy for any real food, but man, I had the hand made ricotta gnocchi for lunch and I honestly felt as though I cheated on my Italian grandmother with how good it was. (Nonna if youโ€™re reading this Iโ€™m sorry.)

It came with both a hint of lemon and arugula with a white base sauce that was also shredded with parmesan. Compliments to the chef because the lemon wasnโ€™t overpowering in the slightest, and the arugula helped balanced some of the flavouring as well.

It may look like a small dish, but trust me, gnocchi will deceive you like that. Definitely recommend if youโ€™re ever stopping by to see a show at the Hart House Theatre! Iโ€™m for sure gonna stop by another time and try one of the...

Great food. Great space. Lovely stained glass and tall arches. Hidden gem in U of T. Good place to go for celebration! Great spot for U of T Alumni to return to visit, professors, guest lecturers, special someone, special occasion.

The wooden tables, the orchids, the lighting on a sunny afternoon, just a magical, lovely lovely time. Highly recommend to come here for a special occasion!! Tip to check open hours, as they have smaller...
