EDIT: I'm changing my review from 2 stars to 1 star.

I'm deducting 1 star for the explosion that happened in the toilet after this food. That's the only food I consumed all day, so I know for a fact that my stomach is all messed up because of this food. Worst disappointment than I thought.

I don't recommend this food AT ALL.

I placed my order online, so can't comment on the staff or this location.

I was very disappointed with this order the moment I saw it. I'm giving them 2 stars. 1 star for fast delivery, and 1 star for the seasoned chicken & bun itself. Everything else was just a straight up disappointment.

I'm deducting 1 star for the bland fries. McDonald's is better and that's saying something.

I'm deducting 1 star for the Coleslaw and Half-cut random pickle slice. Coleslaw had an aftertaste which made me want to throw up.

I'm deducting 1 star for the Apple Pie. You can buy a bigger, better tasting pie at a grocery store for the same price. Again, that's saying something about how bad this pie was.

Luckily, I'll be reimbursed for this lunch (Thank God for company paid lunches). Otherwise, I would HATE to spend that much money on this food. It was my first and last time. Never again, UberEats. Never again will I fall for your reviews again.

Almost 25 years ago I used to frequent this restaurant as it was few steps from my place on Erskine Ave. I have fond memories of walking in on cold Toronto days and enjoying hot soup and chicken souvlaki with home fries. The elderly couple behind the counter would diligently prepare dishes and bring to the table. I remember the husband once advised that I shouldn’t order onion rings as it would be a lot for me along with home fries. I thought that was funny, but that is what happens when you are in a family run business. They are not about making a buck, they care for their customers. I am not sure if that elderly couple is still around or if this restaurant is being run by the same family but I just thought it would be appropriate to leave this review even if it’s 25 year late. This place is a solid 4 stars. Starting with the coffee, it is actually really good! Nothing special but well made good coffee. They are quick to refill so that's also nice.

I tried the eggs Benedict and that wasn't great to be honest. The Hollandaise sauce was not good and it significantly impacted the overall outcome of the dish. I've tried better Hollandaise at other restaurants in the area. They use a ready sauce and it doesn't seem to be working well for them.

The home fries are good, nothing special but done well. It felt like I enjoyed the hoke fries more than the main dish which isn't a great sign.

The staff are welcoming and generally pleasant, so that's a great plus. I didn't feel pushed to be quick or to order.
