i recently got addicted to harveys, and its 30 minutes walk from where i come. I usually go to Starbucks (90% time). Now, i want smth to drink while eating, so even at Starbucks, i ask for water. They give it free. In harveys, in all other harveys, they give the cup alone. Now i assume that in the fountain, there is water like other foodchains. But no water, just soda/lemondade, so it's obvious i will take smth for drink. Other harveys are absolutely good with this. I am going to this location from this Tuesday, i bought a burger, so I asked for water. Tuesday i had to go Fountain, Wednesday i was given water, Thursday again fountain, and today, they declined saying people take drinks from fountain. I am upset. They said buy a bottle instead. I had to go to Tim hortons and pay 10 cents for water. I mean, if no harveys mind this, why you are minding. Why not make the customer experience good so that they come again and again. Now i am in this area for like 1 week more, i will probably ask for water again, if they decline, cant do much and i will just eat burger and walk 30 minutes back, and then drink water when i reach my destination. Horrible. I might not even show up every day here now. I will probably go somewhere else and pay there for a wrap instead of having the delicious burger harvey has, which is sad. The mamager must have told the employees to say no to customers who ask for a cup as they are thirsty, like brother, if they are financially good, they will pay for some soda automatically, if they dont, they cant pay for smth to drink, then why not just give them a cup? like this, they at least buy from you, and you are still in business! I am sure i am not the only one who will stop being a regular at a store due to this thing, there might be various other peeps before me due to which from a manager pov they might have lost huge business. Why not show courtesy and be humble and give a free cup to the few customers who can't pay for drinks and let them have a good day? tehy will at least buy some food in this case! Today, when i went, i asked for a cup first. They declined, and i tried to convince they didn't, so i didn't buy anything there. I am omw to another location right now. This is...
Read moreI recently visited Harvey's and had a disappointing experience with one of the staff members named Gonza. The store's online closing time was listed as 12:00 AM, so we arrived at 9:45 PM expecting to dine in without issues. However, we were informed that the actual closing time was 10:30 PM. Right after placing our order, I requested to wash my hands, but to my surprise, Gonza had already put up the black strap, restricting access to a large part of the dining area — including the washroom.
When I politely asked if I could use the washroom just to wash my hands, she responded in a very rude and dismissive manner. There was no explanation or courtesy — just a blunt "sorry" and continued doing her work as if I wasn’t even there. I understand the need for cleaning, but as a customer, I expected basic manners and a respectful response. Even a simple, polite explanation like "we’ve started cleaning, but you can wait a minute" would have been enough.
It felt like she was more focused on wrapping up and going home quickly rather than offering proper customer service. I don’t believe this is what Harvey’s stands for. I strongly suggest that the management consider providing Gonza with proper customer service training to improve communication and professionalism with guests. Every customer deserves to feel respected. Other staff was so nice and...
Read moreI ordered by using the Harvey's app and then I pick up my order..... the workers there are very positive and polite even during peak hour (I order lunch 12ish), as I was standing there waiting for my order to be ready I noticed that there was Uber eats, skip the dishes, other people that ordered through the app and not to mention walk-ins. All the workers there where working very hard and it sucks to see people waiting for their food to be done being rude and demanding telling them to hurry up and even cussing at the workers, and I saw the workers still being polite and apologetic.......
I give this store "5" stars 🌟 for cleanliness, staff etiquett, food quality and packaging.
I give them "0" stars 🌟 on how long it takes for your food to be ready, it is not the workers fault sadly with all the different ways there is to purchase your meal and companies wanting a lot more business with less employees lineups and waiting are inevitable and we need to learn...
