This, not so colossal, Vietnamese grocery store caters to the needs of Oriental people in the community, for years. It, definitely, deserves to be credited for surviving a long time and growing between the two giant grocery supermarkets, No-frills and Price Choppers - the later is replaced by Freshco for two years. The farm produce is always fresh and of good quality, but it is usually pricier than the substantial supermarkets. If you are price conscious, it is good to know the current average prices of the things you intend to buy. The store is always swarmed by Oriental people. It seems they find the food of their choice and prefer to shop there rather than the big international stores. I usually go there to buy row peanut packets. They carry the good quality of them that I don't find in any other store (I see them being sold in Sunny supermarket). Read moreThis market is one of the few Asian supermarkets in the area, making it a bustling hub for those seeking Asian ingredients. The staff here are hardworking, friendly, and efficient, qualities I’ve consistently observed over the years. While the supermarket could benefit from updates in cleanliness and maintenance, it retains a nostalgic, old-school charm that evokes the feel of the 1990s, complete with a certain grittiness that adds to...
Read moreWorst Customer Service. Extremely Rude Behaviour. Cheating on Customers by misleading price tag. On December 12, 2023, at 3:13 pm, at the location of 673 Markham Road, at Terminal 1:050001002-001001, the lady misbehaved with me very badly. The price tag of Crispy bread was $3.99, but she charged $4.39, when I told her about the price tag, she asked me to follow her, and I did. She also saw $3.99, but instead of apologizing for mis-pricing, she asked me to go away. She said, "If you cannot pay $4.39, go home." Price does not matter, good customer service is more important. She cannot ask a valued customer to go home. What kind of customer service is this? I am terribly shocked at...
