I like this location because it offers supplements that my closer location normally would be sold out in, however, I absolutely dread this location because of the employees. I understand its the sales associate’s job description to ask if I need help, but being asked immediately after the previous one did and declining non stop is DISRUPTIVE. Especially when I am talking to my partner and comparing supplement brands with ingredients vs pricing.
For reference, I care a lot about what I put into my body; I shop at various Healthy Planet locations, sometimes several times a week, and have for many years. Most of my unpleasant shopping experiences are actually in other stores. This was annoying, but it’s far from the worst I’ve had in any store. Unfortunately, that spot was taken today when a certain cashier demanded to see my id.
When providing my phone number for points, often the employees can’t find my account (problem stemmed from how it was set up). They always have to search in some other way to find my account. So when this employee asked for my phone number, I interjected to search the other way (because I’m tired of this NPC bull*t dialogue after hearing it for 2 years straight), she implemented it right away. I then asked to use my points, after which she asks for my ID and gives a meme-able bombastic side eye while studying my ID card.
I’ve never been asked to verify my ID at checkout at any location. This isn’t a government building, nor an LCBO, and I certainly didn’t purchase alcohol nor buy supplements that need a naturopath’s approval.
There is no reason for her to need or even ask for my ID; it’s a complete breach of my privacy as a customer. There was no suspicious dialogue exchanged, she immediately demanded to see it after I asked her to “search the other way” as well as use the points. Your staff doesn’t have the need, nor the power to investigate in such an invasive manner and my partner and I are frankly disgusted. Read moreInitially I gave this place a five star. Have been a regular customer coming here for years since it was first established. Two weeks ago I came for another shopping trip at this location, when at the checkout I noticed the computer screen was not on, I asked the young lady cashing me out why I could not see what she was scanning. She replied "the screen is not working". When she was finished scanning my items I asked to list everything she scanned and the price. She listed everything I intended to purchase.
After I paid, I left, returned home to view my bill. To my astonishment I seen there was an extra item scanned that I did not purchase, nor did she list when asked. It was a sheer tint lip gloss. I had to immediately return.
Ofcourse the only conclusion is that she tried to steal from me. Why else would she not list that item when I asked? I quickly showed the receipt to the manager, demanding a refund. The manger had me wait for over 20 minutes to view the cameras then refunded me when she verified I was telling her the truth. Moreover, after explaining the entire story, she defended her employee saying "it was a system error", then when I asked why the lady didn't verbally list it when asked, she said "she must have forgot". How can one forget to read a portion of the receipt?
Clearly, they were not on my side, nor did she offer me anything else for the massive inconvenience. I will not come back to this location.

I am from Missisauga and last week was my first experience with healthy planet, when I went their oh my god their staff was welcoming and amazing. Beauty Advicer name is (CiCi) if I am not wrong honestly I forgot her name but she is a great human being ☺️. I tried sephora and shopper drug mart for skin care consultation but unfortunately never got relevant information, trust me I talked to one of their staff members indaun girl I didn't ask her name she respectfully called Beauty Adviser for me so,CiCi spend more than 30 minutes with me and stopped me from buying multiple skin care products which is not for my skin type. I really appreciate their management and hiring department who hired them and you know when I visited their the time was approximately 5pm so, it was almost end of their shift but still she was full of energy. I recommend all to visit at least once to get good guidance for your skin...
