This place unfortunately is just OK as I wish I could say better. For the price that you’re paying you could just go to an a la carte restaurant and get better food with more quality for a much cheaper price and unfortunately the live cooking show doesn’t justify the price premium increase. For 4 adults and 1 child our bill was over $300 for some average at best Japanese food. We paid almost $30 just to upgrade our plain little cups of steamed rice to Chicken fried rice which really makes no sense at all. The food for the most part was somewhat bland and the live cooking show only lasted about 10 minutes so if you want to pay so much extra for just that go right ahead. I guess it’s an ok thing to do once but I can’t see many people returning after they pay their bill for what they got so my guess is this restaurant won’t be around for long unless they change their pricing. If you have to go for a special occasion I would suggest sticking with the Chicken or Shrimp as the Steak was pretty rubbery. The Fried rice and veggies were ok but you can find much better elsewhere across the board. The appetizers and rolls were ok but somewhat small for the price they charge. It was not awful don’t get me wrong just not the best deal in town if you know what I mean. Chances are we won’t return again unless they are offering some sort of special promotion to make it worth it. Don’t be deceived by my pictures as I always try to make things look as good as possible. The restaurant was clean and had a nice decor and the service was ok so I will give them that. If only their pricing was better they’d receive a much better star rating.

Okyah..This is a really long due review, but for some personal emergencies i couldn't make time! We visited this location last month and I've been excitedly waiting for this branch to finally open up from my previous experiences in other locations(I'm a fan!). The ambience is 10/10 for dinner dates, group hangouts or hosting special celebrations with mouthwatering foods. Coming to our experience, I visited there with my partner for a cozy dinner on a random weekday and I'm so glad we did, it was soo worth it! We were attended by a young Bangladeshi manager(excuse my memory for your name.. you know who you're! 😊) who was very warm and welcoming, he greeted us well with his pleasant and street smart personality, and made sure to offer the best he had. We had great and engaging conversations with him, 5star for that customer service(which a lot of restaurants lack) and throughout our stay, he made sure we had an amazing dining experience in every possible way. Our Bangladeshi chef Imran was also very skillful and great at what he does. I loved the way he attended the guests across our table as well besides us. He was also very engaging and generous. They offered great portions of foods specially for us, and all the dishes were absolutely scrumptious. My steak and his salmon was cooked to perfection, and they offer wide range of flavors with their sauces. For a foodie like me, it's definitely a 100% "worth the penny" and must "come-back" experience! 5star to the entire staff, food and unique dine-in experience 👌

We had the 7 course menu (photo attached). The hostess was very welcoming and displayed proper customer service skills. Our chef was Ridoy. He was very engaging and checked in with us as he prepared each item we ordered. He was very considerate, professional and served the table well ensuring to provide equal attention to all the guests. He organized the different meats properly as to not cross contaminate while cooking and he did it exceptionally well! He managed to combine entertainment and service at just the right ratio and did not disappoint. He provided equal attention to everyone at the table. Our waitress was Doris, the service was overall normal however the atmosphere and the interior design was stunning and that’s what really took our attention! Out of all the Hibachi’s we have been to, this was by far the most beautiful interior & design. Photos included. I am giving 3 stars for food as our food tasted a bit better at the Vaughan location in all honesty. However, the chef cooked my AAA filet mignon perfectly. 5 stars for atmosphere, it’s definitely a place I would like to host an event as the design was just remarkable. It’s a newer location that opened up a year ago. Very clean and well kept restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed their miso soup, it was perfect and temperature was spot on!

February 2023: We returned because we liked the lobster tails on family day. We were told that we only have an hour to eat after we ordered. Family of 4, the bill will be $200 +, and I was told to eat my food and be gone. We used gift cards to pay, we bought from Costco, intended in save $10 for every $50 gift card purchased. Guess what, we were told we cannot use the gift cards at lunch time Monday to Friday, because the restaurant is giving 30% discount. I understand that they do not want diners to double dipping the discount. When we paid with for our dinner, $200 worth of gift cards, 18% after taxes gratuity was added without our agreement, that is $36 tips. Hibachi robbers. The service we received didn’t deserve this amount of gratuity. We did not receive any dipping sauces, and we had to ask for them. There was no soap in all restrooms. The staff was nice and courteous, but they did not make these policies that drives diners away. The foods this time is too salty to my taste. I guess that this might be the last time for our family to dine here. The management seems to be pushing the turn overs, and neglecting the diners feedback and comfort. The stars are dropping. Sharing my reviews are caring. It is entirely up to the restaurant owners to make changes for the better. January 2023 review: Table arrangements are not the best, waited for 30 minutes before we were seated. Things you did well, Birthday celebration from your staff, friendly and courteous. Foods are nice, lobster tails, filet Mignon, beef tataki stood out. Things to improve upon immediately, 1) washrooms sanitation were below par, worst than government run washrooms, gave me goosebumps and disgust. Restaurateur who failed in washrooms most likely failed sanitation in Kitchen; 2) customers cannot order more food once the cooking process started. 3) There are not enough staff utilization, too many of them on cell phones. The cooking process seems rushed, with the attempt of having it done asap. The food tossing into our mouth was messy but fun. 4) I prefer bean sprouts over broccoli, why mushrooms were not offered.$55 per head with little bit of sake. Average full service dining. I will rate you 5 stars if you fixed the sanitary conditions, dark restaurant might be hiding a skeleton in the dining room in plain sight, lol. Kudos to...

I will never have a celebration here EVER again and I advise the same for you. I went here for my birthday and it was probably one of the worst experiences of my life. To start, the service was very very very slow. We had to ask the server to take the cake to the fridge twice. When taking our order, the server was very nice letting me know that they will definitely be doing something for my birthday. We had ordered four combo teppanyaki and one salmon teppanyaki. Somehow, they forget to bring over the chicken for one of the combos and they end up having to cook it in the back. By the time it comes out, the rice that they had prepared in front of us is all cold. After we finish all our food, the server simply clears out all our dishes and doesn't say anything about the dessert or cake we brought. While I understand that sometimes if you ask for a birthday celebration it takes some time to prepare but what happens next was simply mind boggling. Firstly, my dad has to ask for the cake. When the server brings out the cake he simply brings it back out in the BROWN box it came in with a butter knife. Its not opened, there is no candle and the cake is brought over with NO plates or cutlery. Maybe I am too entitled but usually when I go to a restaurant they take it OUT of the box and they bring it over for you whether they have a birthday celebration policy or not. Also it wasn't as if they were SO swamped that they were too busy to take the cake out for me and I would totally understand if that were the case. At this point, I'm already so disappointed with my entire experience, I just decide I want to leave and eat the cake at home. Upon getting the bill, we notice that we are charged $10 for the birthday celebration that didn't happen which we quickly asked to be removed. Another little surprise for you is that the gratuity is 18% no matter what if you have less than 6 people. So not only did I have a bad experience, I had to give a high tip for something I clearly didn't think was worth it for me. Never...

Didn't think it was possible to have such an abysmal teppanyaki experience. The chef assigned to our table spoke quietly and had such little energy (didn't even crack a smile) that it was kind of awkward and comical. The only tricks they did was (1) juggling spatulas briefly at the very beginning, (2) keeping an egg up in the air vertically with a spatula like it's a ping pong ball (which eventually fell), and (3) throwing a piece of meat into someone's mouth. The other table seemed to have a lively and skilled chef, leading us to have some serious FOMO. To rub salt into the wound, dude left the onion rings on the grill and said "that's all for today, is there anything else you'd like" - he was 100% about to leave, that is until someone at the table asked if they were going to do the onion volcano fire. They did it and it was anticlimactic, and the onions were thrown out after.

Now onto the food. The chicken and steak were both dry and kind of flavourless. Scallops and lobster were better, but you only got 3 pieces of scallop and 3 tiny bits of lobster. Fried rice was bland and lacked salt - maybe the onions that were thrown out at the end would have added a nice touch. Portion of vegetables was so small we were in disbelief. The food was also not distributed evenly amongst customers at the table - some would have a lot more meat or vegetables. The "sushi appetizer" was literally just 3 of the tiniest california rolls I'd ever seen, per person. The ice cream was good.

Used a groupon and even with the discount it's overpriced. The regular price shown on groupon is definitely marked up - if you go to their menu and add up the items it costs a lot less than what's shown as the reg price.

Giving this 2 stars instead of 1 because the wait staff seemed nice and helpful. Experience also heavily depends on the...
