I have been visiting this branch since 2019. I think it’s time to provide a review, in a nutshell one of the worst customer services you can experience. It’s not just a person issue but that’s how the branch functions regardless of the person (don’t want generalize so let’s say majority). You will never go in with an issue and come out happy, in fact they will ensure it gets worse.

Cheque ordered through a TD preferred vendor they recommended and order initiated from TD branch never reached me, all they got to say sorry we can’t help. Is there a way I can atleast block the serial number of cheque leafs in advance? No you can’t. You have to wait for them to steal your money to come to us.
TD easy trade won’t act as one TD. They ask for your SIN, Debit Card number as “they can’t access your account number” to link or unlink TFSA to your TD banking which is mind boggling. Not a single commitment (Amazon voucher which was never received) they gave to incentivize you to open TFSA account with them was kept. One of worst app to trade, crooked people to do business with so you close the TFSA account but they won’t remove it from your TD banking (just to meet their quarterly numbers, all the tricks they pull on you). Now you visit the branch, why a closed account still in my list? Obvious response is “it’s not causing any problem right, leave it”. When you push, they will be like we can’t do it at the branch.
Does it matter? Why a closed account still showing as active on my banking accounts list? One of the many devious practices.
They can leave a kiosk over these customer service agents as I don’t see these agents adding any value, not even remotely trained or eligible to do...
Read moreI need to be careful about TD now. Some of the customer service experiences are not up to par. Terrible experience with TD Wealth Management not being personable and projecting their assumptions on me. They knew I was a new customer too - it felt like a job interview.
I like how they have someone tending to any additional customers outside of the line up. It's helpful! They provide a sense of service. But they can take it a step further as listed below.
I think they need more seating, and need to handle the load of people that fluctuates during the day. Add at least two more desks (eg. For online banking) that are staffed, to handle some basic needs. Give signage during the line up for some online banking instructions and be proactive to help guide people through. Provide extra self-serve computers that people can sit at confidentially, managed by one staff member. Please get ahead of your queues during peak times of the day. It's much needed! It's because Fairview Mall is a high-traffic location. Extra staff can be justified and is highly needed.
Also it would be mindful to have a seniors/handicapped corner that can tend to them. I noticed this branch has translation to Chinese, so having a bilingual speaker there would speed things up a lot and be considerate of the...

I had a very unpleasant experience at your branch today. I first met with Nathan, who was polite and helpful. He told me to bring my ID to reset my PIN and said I could come back directly without waiting in line. When I returned, there was a long queue, but Nathan confirmed I could wait nearby and he would call me.
Then a lady named Chidera (at the reception) called me and started handling my case. Her behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional from the start. When I tried to explain that I had already spoken with Nathan, she interrupted me and spoke in a very disrespectful tone. I simply asked her name, and she refused to tell me, made rude facial expressions, and said things like “Don’t piss me off, go wait in line,” and “Go talk to my manager.”
This kind of attitude is unacceptable, especially from someone representing TD Bank. Nathan, the manager, and another employee (Chinese/ philly Guy) were all polite and respectful, but Chidera’s behavior completely ruined my experience.
