Hotopia Scarborough is a gem! While it’s known more for its Sichuan cuisine and Mala Dry Pots than traditional hot pot, the flavors here are absolutely incredible and authentic. I highly recommend trying the Sichuan Style Bullfrog Pot—the meat was so tender and the chili seasoning had a real, satisfying kick (you can adjust the spice level!). The appetizers were also great; don't skip the Scrambled Eggs and Tomatoes, which are unexpectedly rich and comforting. Beyond the delicious food, the service is truly a highlight. Came here for lunch with friends but had the worse experience that because we found the hair from the fish bowl,,, while the owner never had the awareness of apologize but only showed the attitude when we did not gave tips… when we took the picture to report she came to question that we don’t have manner and we did not leave tip and she had gave us 20% off on bills, we questioned her did not apologize and no explanation but was grumpy that we never give discount… however the owner’s attitude and the food hygiene here is sucks… also the fish is super salty not even saying a nice dishes at all, and my friend said the fish they used to use was snakehead not the cheapest Partha fish with charges of more than $30 CAD Anyways not...
