I ordered butter chicken chawal, dahi bhalla, and two samosas. There was a piece of hair in one of the samosas, so I requested a refund for my entire order; one item of dubious quality throws the cleanliness and safety of all other items into question. The object in dispute is black, hair-thin, slightly curved, with one pointy end and one bulbous end. At first, the manager claimed it was coriander and denied my refund request. How likely is it that only one samosa contained this coriander? After I sent new photos and videos, he offered to refund only the samosas. He emailed me “we take enough precautions to make sure the food items are prepared with proper hygienic measures in place”. “Enough precautions” is laughable and not at all convincing that their food safety measures are sufficient.
Edit: The restaurant is now lying about giving me a refund. I have attached screenshots of Fantuan‘s and IndiaWaale’s responses. Is “May be you are not aware of the regular south asian spices. Everyone knows about these spices, so don't worry” supposed to discredit my review? In addition to disrespecting a customer, doubling down on your lies only worsens your reputation.
