This place is FIRE. I usually order from their Uber Eats (under Constantinople Grill), and it is the most consistently great food that is delivered to our office in record time. If you are on a lower carb diet, this is the move: get a large chicken salad, add an extra order of chicken, and/or an extra order of beef, add tzatziki + salad dressing + garlic sauce (and if you have louisiana hot sauce at home add that too), and prepare your face, mouth, and stomach, for pure joy. The chicken is always perfectly cooked, the beef (sliced, in donair form) is crispy and spiced to perfection (not heat spice, but spice spice). Seriously this place helped me from going insane while doing a ketogenic diet. If you are not on a low carb diet, definitely check out their fallafel and baklava as well. The people that work there are awesome too, I know because I visited it on purpose to meet the fkn magicians behind the scenes after ordering off of uber at least a hundred times (I am not kidding, I have actually ordered from them that often). I know I am gushing, but this place deserves high praise. It is fast, simple, HUGE portions, savoury as hell, and has a salad/no carb offering that actually fills you up and doesn't make you hate your life while dieting. Did I mention it is cheap? Because it is cheap. Have I ordered from them nearly every day for months on end? Yes. Am I embarrassed to admit that I can eat the same meal day in day out like some sort of crazy OCD ridden mathematician from days past? Nope, not even slightly. Keep it up you...
Read moreI wanted to give this place a second try after buying a disappointing falafel in the winter. I didn't want to judge based on one experience, especially during a pandemic. The first time I tried this place, my falafel wrap fell apart, but the contents tasted fine so I figured I'd give it another shot. While waiting for my order, I watched two women behind the counter talk without their masks on. I work in food service, so I am well aware of how frustrating it is to spend the whole day wearing a mask, but it's the law, and I don't get excited to eat my food from a place where masks are getting pulled down in the middle of a pandemic, and in front of patrons. This time, my falafel fell apart before I could even unwrap it. It was so difficult to eat that I wondered if the pita had gone bad. The contents fell everywhere, and I couldn't even eat it on a plate. I've never in my life had this experience, and I won't be having another falafel for a long time. Considering I was looking for something I could eat outside, this...
Read moreHelped my son move downtown was looking for a late night treat. This was nearby, when I entered I saw a lot of bags on the counter for delivery. Thought okay must be good. So regret buying here. Sandwich was bland, quantity of meat in sandwich was much less than other places I've been. But what really cheesed me. I asked if they make falafels fresh or are they pre made. Says oh we'll make them fresh. Asked the price. $1.25 for 2. Charged my $4.75 was $1 a piece plus tax. But worst part 😖 that that just refried old ones. Paid $$ for dried up burnt nothings. They put some hummus in the plate with the falafel, well at least that's what they called it, but didn't have any of the properties of hummus. Needless to say, fool me once shame on you... They're not gonna get another chance. Only decent item I had was the...
