Great fast food. Surprisingly, they have more than just burgers. Check out their menu to understand but basically, look up their burger toppings lol ...There's a Greek twist with their village burgers. Food is made to order and definitely fresh! We went with Greek food and chose pork souvlaki and chicken (comes with white meat) souvlaki meals. Unconventional for a typical burger/hotdog place to carry those types of meals (unless we are talking about old school Danforth fast food type restaurants) The food was perfectly seasoned and still hot, even though we drove the food home to consume it. I was very impressed with their packaging too, everything was packaged nicely and the salad was in its own container, crisp, fresh and ohhh soooo goood!!!! Hot pita bread and tzatziki/salad dressing on the side. They know what they are doing and the cost was definitely worth it. Burgers are delicious also! The guy grilling is awesome and super friendly. He is so quick and definitely knows what he's doing in the kitchen! He gets into his zone and does a fantastic job!! We will definitely be coming back here and trying more of their menu items. YAY!!

Also, I should mention they renovated the place because years ago, it needed updating and was a forgotten restaurant in that small plaza but now they revamped their menu and signs and then cleaned the place up to give it an updated fast-food diner type look. Still not fancy or modern but it is clean, bright and cute! No seating in the restaurant so you take your food and go. They accept credit cards, debit and cash. Always a PLUS, to...

Loved it! The second we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed. The person taking our order was patient with us, so that's a big plus (hahah). The first time I tried JA's Hamburgers was probably 2 years ago, and they weren't as tasty as they are now! We got the Home Banquet Burger combo. The combo comes with fries and a soft drink. The patties were thick - we had to take a good look at them because we honestly thought there were two patties! They put a good amount of toppings on the burgers as well, and you could definitely see and taste the bacon! The fries are also very yummy when they're hot. They are still good when they've cooled down, but not AS good. It took maybe about 10 - 15 mins to get our food, which isn't bad - especially since there are nice benches to sit on, but if it means the burgers are gonna be good (which they were) then that's not that long of a wait 😊

One more thing, the place didn't wreak of oil, and looked very clean - definitely a bonus!

Thank you for the good experience! We will...

I was gladly surprised to see a capable chef whom I have known for many years was in charge of the kitchen when I visited the restaurant. What a change it had been under the new management! The food was amazing. He said he prepares the burger himself, and trust me, it blows Johnny's Hamburgers, Golden Star Burger, and any other burger place out of the park. The meat was of high quality, fresh, and seasoned. I truly believe Gordan Ramsey himself would call that a great burger (though he may like it a little less cooked to be honest, but I enjoyed the patty the way it was). Every topping was fresh, the bun was nicely toasted, the char on the bun and on the burger really gives it a noticeable and delicious chargrilled taste. I love it. I can't wait to return and have the burger again, and try some souvlaki dinner. It has been on my mind like a gambler thinking about casino runs. Yeah, it is addictive. I mean the food. The environment was clean and spacious. The cashiers looked happy. The price was good. Overall,...

Update: recently went back again and got a home burger, the double smash with onion rings and Philly cheese steak. The home burger is def tastier than the regular hamburger and out of everything ... We enjoyed the Philly cheese steak the most! So tasty. I've lived in the area for 10 years but never checked out JA until now. I think they've recently renovated. I got cheese burgers and poutine. The burgers were great (juicy, with a bit of char, nice bun, toasted on the grill as well). The poutine used shredded mozz (I think.... not curds) with lots of gravy. They load on the top, so it's good mix the poutine around so all the goodness hits all the fries. It was delicious. Staff were very friendly and included a cookie treat for my boys. Their specials menu board included a double smash burger that I was tempted to try, but I passed on it since it was my first time and wanted to try their regular burger. Will definitely come back.

Haven't eaten here in almost 20 years... new owners/management is doing an ok job. Ordered (4x of everything.) some HomeBurgers .. Home fries.. and onion rings .. Although the burger was awesome... the fries were ok but not what I ordered (discovered this when I got home) which were regular fries .. the onion rings were greasy and some looked/tasted like they were refried. Overall the burgers were Great! Service staff were friendly and helpful .. probably some communication issues on my order with the cook. I dunno.. I hope the shortcomings won't be repeated on my next visit .. I want to givem a stellar review. Bon appetit ... Update . . Regarding the home fries I was initially looking at a different menu other than the one linked to the locations website ... here's a snapshot of the one I was looking at (stated 'breakfast home fries") my mistake. I should have linked to the correct menu. Sorry for my musunderstanding

Great burger place! This shop has been around for many years now, and has another location up in Markham. They are take out only with no seating, but serve some of the best burgers I’ve had in the GTA! We tried the home burger and the home village burger. The home patty is definitely top notch and we love how it’s made in house with their own ingredients! Both burgers were very delicious and filling. I like how you can customize your toppings, and how there is a greek touch to them - feta, tzatziki, etc. My only recommendation to the restaurant would be to have a different bun (maybe a potato bun?) but I know this would be an additional cost, and there is nothing wrong with how the buns are now. 🙂 The service here was also great, we had a girl serve us and she was very kind and offered suggestions. If you are in the area I would highly recommend checking them out for a delicious tasting burger 👍
