I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dormet Grill Kabob, a hidden gem of a Middle Eastern restaurant in Vaughan, and it left me thoroughly impressed.

I'm not sure why I haven't come here more over the years- their food is great: super fresh and tasty, using what seem to be quality ingredients. It's hard to beat their shawarma combo... the shawarma wrap plus their AMAZING lentil soup... that soup is to die for, so uniquely seasoned, I can't get enough of it! Most annoying part is their shawarma wraps fall apart very easily- maybe try different bread? Also love their rice here anytime I do a plate. Both the tandoori and butter chickens are INCREDIBLE as well- very authentic flavours. Be quick, because that butter chicken always sells out- rightfully so! Seriously haven't had a bad thing here in the years I've been going- I really do gotta' start eating here more, I'm always so impressed anytime I go... so much better than other shawarma spots...

This is the best kabob and shawarma place I’ve been to. The quality of food is fantastic and the price is very reasonable for the large portion. The portion of the meat is quite substantial. I also like the hygiene handling of the food with plastic gloves, overall cleanliness of the place (e.g. I saw one of the staff or the owner wiping food off the counter). Also there is lots of parking! I also like how they offer the option to eat in with proper plates and utensils. The staff thought I was getting take out and put it in a take out box. But as I was paying she gave me a metal utensil when I told her that I was eating in.
