I’m not leaving this post to offend anyone anyone in particular I mean for the most part, what’s not to love about a Jewish deli run by pillipeeno’s lol that being said I used to have good memories of this place took my family here to go and support the business. Haven’t been here in years, we took a few bites and walked right out the door. Terrible service. The waitress said she was gonna make us a fresh pot of coffee. Absolutely did not do that. Brought us burnt stale coffee. That’s been sitting there since the morning I give you my word I’m not picky about coffee. nor is my mom but we Were disgusted asked for well done fries this photo is what I took. They literally gave us the fries, the potatoes I mean that we’re sitting in the bottom of the fryer for the last three months soggy black. disgusting. The soft scrambled eggs I would give a 7 maybe an eight out of 10 that was OK obviously that was made a la minute. And if I can add one more thing, I’m shocked that people would pay almost $10 for a bagel with cream cheese. Insane absolutely insane. The bagels were great though but for a small bagel with a little bit of cream cheese no way that is insane $10 so disappointed not to mention being lied to, to say to lie to my mother to say that she was going to make a fresh pot of coffee and absolutely did not do that. She didn’t make her way to the coffee machine and fill it up and the water running none of that she literally brought 2 cups of coffee 10 seconds later impossible to have made a pot that quickly, and it was disgusting and burnt just like the potatoes. Our food was terrible. We literally took a few bites and walked out the door refused to pay terrible terrible terrible service terrible food.

Came here for the all day breakfast meal, left very satisfied with the quality of breakfast served here, along with the cheerful owner and staff that just impacts your day positively. Me and my buddy arrived late at around 3pm when the restaurant section was already closed, yet the team was more than happy to accommodate by serving us food from the restaurant menu while we sat in the bakery section. I got the Eggs Benedict on a sesame bagel with spinach and lox (smoked salmon) on it while my buddy got the California breakfast set that came with a toasted bagel, fresh cream cheese, avocado slices, tomato slices and scrambled eggs. You definitely cannot go wrong with the fresh hand rolled bagels here. Furthermore, the fresh cream cheese was the crowning glory of my buddy’s breakfast set. I loved the Eggs Benedict, although the lox was a bit on the saltier side as opposed to what a plain smoked salmon would be. However, the portions of salmon provided were generous. I also got the Israeli salad with my breakfast set which I was impressed by how well seasoned it was, along with its generous portion size, freshness of the vegetables used, along with the variety that offered not just a soothing crunch but a cooling feel to the summer heat. Their refillable coffee is on the stronger side, something which I appreciate, especially when paired with their toasted bagels. I am looking forward to be a regular patron of Kiva’s bagels for not only their healthy spread of delicious food at market prices but also for their warmth hospitality by the staff and owner here.

I recently went to Kiva’s Bakery on Steeles and the food was delicious! I had the egg, onion and lox and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. I had no idea what lox was but my friend told me it’s salmon. The dish itself was perfectly blended…the onions and lox added so much flavour. Normally I’m wary of ordering orange juice at a restaurant as I sometimes find the juice goes down scratching my throat (does that make sense?!) but here, it was soooo good! Especially good if you like lots of pulp! It was so good that I bought a bottle for home! I don’t know why I don’t go here more often to eat (after all, it is just across the street from me!) but I will be back.

The food is great i'm not gonna lie how ever !... I called a few days before asking for an order to be placed I was suggested to have a time frame so that the food was ready which i appreciated since i was infact in a hurry to pick up and leave to the place i needed the food for. the time was set for the food to be ready for 3 when i showed up after 3 the food was not only not ready it wasn't even started ! now i believe had i called it probably would have been better prior to , to make sure they have started the order however i was under the impression when you place an order and specify a time that should be set up that way.. very disappointing i got there and only then was the product taken out of the fridge to start warming up... thankfully the food tastes good so i will go back however now i know for future to triple check that they are ready for the order to be picked up ! especially since i went out of my way to leave work early to allocate enough time to be able to pick up the food and get back on the road to be where i needed in the correct time . it just shows the customer they don't matter and that the scheduled order was disregarded as not important enough to have ready as would have been expected. it wasn't a huge order but it wasn't tiny either it still took 30 mins to prepare. So make sure to call before if you want your...
