Since stopped going to Popeye's, always on the lookout for a solid chicken sandwich. QuikChik came very close to it, but the flavour and quality of this chicken sandwich was amazing. Chicken breast piece was a great size, crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside and surprisingly juicy for a breast piece. Went with the mild version to actually taste what the chicken was like. The bun was in perfect proportion to the sandwich as well, even though I felt I was getting more sandwich at either Popeye's and QuikChik. But the sauce they use is very flavourful and different from other brands. Two critiques, the mayo was a little on the heavy side and therefore overpowered the chicken at times, but will stress to use less the next time around. 2nd was that I ate it too quickly as it was really good. The waffle fries - spicy version - was a good touch and they give a proper amount so you don't waste nor feel overfull trying to finish it. Highly recommend trying this. Sir Fakih, you did it again old chap!

So we've ordered here before and had no issues. Today was another matter. I tried to use Uber Eats app only to learn that they didn't have any dark meat. We cancelled the Uber order and called Paramount Middle Eastern Kitchen directly (which runs Krispo). This was 6:40. The woman on the phone said the order would be ready by 7 pm. I got there at 7:03. Order was NOT ready. I paid and tipped 10%. Told to wait. I left at 7:42. I waited for 40 minutes AT THE RESTAURANT while at least a dozen other takeout customers came and went. Then I got home. I ordered the Cluck Thrice, Spicy. I received the Cluck Thrice REGULAR and the pieces were tiny (see photo). So I waited 40 extra minutes for what amounted to the wrong order. They've lost a customer forever.

Was really excited to try their fried chicken by paramount. Went all the way from Scarborough to try them on dinner time. To be honest it didn’t worth going from all the way. We ordered 3pcs combo, it’s looks nice but taste awful. Specially the chicken 🐓, their was a nasty smell coming from chicken. Felt like it was left over chicken from ages or the quality of the chicken was really really bad. I never had this bad experience in fried chicken. Not recommend at all. But fries 🍟 was nice as looks like fresh cut. Rather than this i was really disappointed. 👎👎👎👎👎

Excited to see Paramount filling a niche here with quality fried chicken in the halal space. This truly is restaurant level fried chicken and not just fast food. It was good to eat fresh chicken and not be turned off by the fat and grease.

The Nashville sauce and spice had a kick and were packed with flavour. The sandwiches here are unique to any other chicken spot. The portion sizes are massive and I was not able to get through my full sandwich after having a chicken piece.

Side notes, the fried mars bar and mac & cheese were good surprises and are excellent sides.

It is expensive, especially when ordering for an entire family. The sandwich price is reasonable for what you're getting but I'd like to see family deals for larger chicken sandwich orders and reduced pricing for the sole chicken pieces which are very expensive. A premium for quality is expected but prices can be trimmed. The ability to not have a side with every item to reduce cost would be appreciated. Otherwise I'd see me eating this more so on rare outings then regularly.

I'd like to see this expanded to more paramounts and I hope they keep up...
