KFC — Restaurant in Toronto

Absolutely awful. I've been to this location 3 times now, and for the first two times gave it the benefit of the doubt but I can now confirm this is BY FAR the worst taco bell, KFC location I have ever been to.

First, the food quality is absolutely terrible and disgusting. Tacos didn't even taste like they were from taco bell and were missing ingredients. The KFC Chicken was simply inedible, the skin was rock solid as it had probably been sitting under a heatlamp for hours and hours, my guess is they make all the chicken at once in the morning and never again to cut corners. On that note, I've never seen smaller, more shriveled and dehydrated piece of chicken from a KFC ever. In fact, this place hardly even resembles a taco bell or KFC. Had to toss the entire meal this time out of disgust.

Second, and this is tame compared to the rest of the mess that is this place: on all 3 occasions portions of the meal were missing. The first 2 times through the drive through and the 3rd time inside which contributed to this being the last time I visited.

MOST IMPORTANT FOR YOU: Inside is grossly unkempt, the ceiling was leaking some sort of liquid in 2 different spots in the store to which they had placed buckets. There were an un-countable number of flies flying in an around the cash register and behind the counter. The floors were dirty and tables unwiped.

The manager seemed to be very frustrated running back and forth from the register to the back to help prepare the food as they seemed to be understaffed but handling money and watching him go from the customers hands to the food in the back was disgusting and unsanitary. The 2 girls sweating and constantly rubbing their foreheads with their forearms in the kitchen were handling the drive-thru monitors and the food with the same gloves and seemed to be rushed and unorganized.

By the looks of the other reviews posted about this location from months ago, it seems they still haven't fixed these problems and the store continues to operate in unsanitary conditions.

KFC and Taco Bell should be absolutely embarrassed this location continues to operate in this manner and it should be looked into further. I will be filing a complaint with corporate about this location. It will also be the first time i file a complaint with DineSafe and Ontario Public Health. This is just way too far.

Came here on a particularly busy day, I guess everyone also wanted to take home some fried chicken before the storm hits like me. When I go to the front of the line, I was told that the deal that I wanted is actually a special that is only on the app. So I proceeded to use another coupon that was not an app exclusive deal. Since the cashier (Akash) told me that the extra crispy fried chicken is going to take 15-20 mins, I told him to cancel my order, and I will order off the app. There are a couple of things that are wrong with the app: you can not swap for extra crispy fried chicken you can not upgrade your fries to supreme fries -the app tells you that your order will take 15 mins, but it will take longer than that. The store can not give feedback to the app telling it to extend the time so customers don’t get mad -the app does not give you an order number. When you’re waiting at the store, you will not see your order under the processing column. They will call your name when your order is ready.

So after I placed my order on the app, I lined up again so that I can talk to Akash and make sure that they can change the order that I put in. Akash was very helpful, he pulled up the order and went out his way to make all the changes that I wanted.

Shout out to Akash and the whole crew for making this an enjoyable experience for me. The food was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend the extra crispy fried chicken whenever they have it, since this is a limited time offer.

While I waited for my order to come out, the crew was extremely patient and professional when customers were being rude and demanding for their order. To the irate customer who come in demanding for his order, the staff is doing the best they can, yelling at them and being difficult is not going to make your food come out faster. recently had the pleasure of visiting this KFC location, and I have to say, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Upon entering, I was immediately impressed by how clean and well-organized the restaurant was. The dining area was spotless, and even the restrooms were pristine, which made me feel comfortable and at ease. It’s clear that the staff takes great pride in maintaining such a welcoming and hygienic environment.

The food, of course, was exactly what I was hoping for. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, just like you’d expect from KFC. The mashed potatoes were creamy, the coleslaw was refreshing, and the biscuit was warm and flaky—everything I ordered was exactly as it should be. One of those small details that made a difference was how fresh everything tasted, even though I was dining in during a busy lunch hour. It really stood out!

What made this visit even more memorable, though, was the exceptional service. A special shoutout to Sukhjeet, who was working the counter that day. He was so polite and helpful, not only with taking my order but also in making sure I had everything I needed, from extra napkins to refills on my drink. I also noticed how he interacted with other customers—always with a smile and a positive attitude. It’s rare to see someone so dedicated to ensuring everyone has a great experience.

An interesting touch was when Sukhjeet offered me a small suggestion on a side dish I hadn’t tried before. I decided to go with it, and it turned out to be a great choice—just goes to show how knowledgeable and thoughtful the staff is here.

All in all, this location really stands out. Between the delicious food, the impeccable cleanliness, and the genuine hospitality, I’ll definitely be returning. Big thanks to Sukhjeet and the entire team for making my visit so enjoyable. Highly recommend this KFC to anyone...
