I love this little bakery in Scarborough and they deserve all the hypes they get. THIS IS THE BEST BAKLAVA AND KUNAFAS I’ve ever had in my life. They serve fresh baklava and kunafas all day long. There are several options to try but not too overwhelming. The pricing is very reasonable to the high quality and generous portion they have. The staff is always patient and friendly. Clean space but not many seats, suitable for takeout Their baklavas are filled with pistachio or almond or cashew, very crispy but not too sweet. I appreciate the fact that they don’t hold back on the pistachio even though it is quite expensive. The philo pastry layer is perfect, buttery and crunchy with just the perfect amount of sugar syrup. I also loved all the variations of kunafas they have here, crunchy, soft, or in the forms of rolls. The filling is generous and so so creamy. Honestly I haven’t found any place that can rival the delicious kunafas here. They have specialy flavors all the time, like Nutella baklava or Biscoff baklava. They also sometimes have cakes. I recently tried the biscoff cake, while it was a bit too sweet with the syrup, the cake was moist. Recently they became viral with the dubai pistachio chocolate. I honestly am so happy they jumped on this trend because they’re the perfect people to do it. Each chocolate bar is $5, perfect size to try out. The pistachio kataifi filling was so rich and creamy, they really improved the consistency. The chocolate may melt easily but they’re not professional chocolatier so I don’t blame them on it. I am definitely a returning customer

Delightful Experience at Kunafa's: I recently had the pleasure of indulging in a sumptuous treat at Kunafa's, and it was an experience worth raving about. As I stepped into the cozy ambiance of Kunafa's, I was greeted warmly by the aroma of freshly baked pastries and the sight of intricate desserts on display. I ordered their signature Kunafa along with a Sahlab drink, and from the first bite to the last sip, I was transported to a world of exquisite flavors. The Kunafa, with its perfectly crisp exterior and luscious cheese filling, was a harmonious blend of sweet and savory. Each bite was a symphony of textures and tastes, leaving me craving for more The Sahlab drink was a delightful accompaniment, creamy and fragrant with subtle hints of spices. It complemented the richness of the Kunafa beautifully, making every sip a moment of pure bliss. What truly elevated my experience at Kunafa's was the exceptional service provided by the staff, particularly the woman who served me. She was not only sweet but also incredibly helpful, patiently guiding me through their menu and ensuring that I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal to the fullest. Overall, my visit to Kunafa's was nothing short of magical. The combination of delectable food, inviting ambiance, and outstanding service made it a dining experience to remember. I cannot recommend Kunafa's highly enough to anyone looking to treat their taste buds to something truly extraordinary. Note: Price wise it’s ultra worth from my point of view and the Sahlab is free the drink🙂

I visited Kunafa’s Chocolate after seeing their viral Dubai chocolate online—and I must say, the experience was quite satisfying overall. The Dubai chocolate was rich, crunchy, and perfectly sweet. The Strawberry cup stood out as my favourite—it had a delicious balance of soft strawberries, creamy chocolate, and a crunchy layer of shemai that added texture to every bite. The Kunafa was cheesy and lightly sweetened, not overwhelming at all. For under $20, getting to try all three desserts was a great deal. That said, a few things to keep in mind: I did encounter a very long wait time (about 30 minutes), and the line-up system could be improved. It would make more sense to have the cash register near the entrance to streamline the flow of customers. Perhaps a ticket or token system would also help avoid confusion during peak hours. Also, parking was a challenge—this plaza is always busy. Lastly, while I thoroughly enjoyed the desserts, I found a small stone-like object in my strawberry cup, which was concerning. Hopefully, this was a one-time mishap, but it’s worth mentioning so quality control can be improved. Overall, ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ , it was a memorable visit. I look forward to returning once they expand or improve their customer flow setup. Wishing the team all the best for future success, ان شاء الله

I looked forward to coming to this place for months, and the other day I finally got the opportunity to do so after traveling 2-3 hrs from Buffalo, NY. I came in towards the end of the night prior to 12am and spent about $80-90 there. The food was great, and was worth the hype, although they put the sugar syrup way earlier on so couldn’t really taste much of it as it dried up. I didn’t bother asking for extra sugar syrup initially because I figured it would have enough from before. However the kunafa was quite salty and not really too sweet at all upon exiting the store and trying it out. It was right at 12:00am (maybe 10 or 20 seconds in) and I had the boxes in my hand as i had just exited the store, and the door was locked since they’d closed. I understand they were probably tired and wanted to close but they were just starting to put stuff away, and I knocked for a quick simple drizzle of sugar syrup on all the kunafa I’d JUST ordered. The staff definitely saw me as I motioned towards the boxes in my hand that I needed bit of syrup on it but they refused to even look up towards me or say anything. I was straight up ignored after giving them all that business, and found that to be quite disrespectful. Even if they were to refuse that service because of closing (which I don’t know why they would, considering they haven’t even started putting stuff away when I knocked) I would have been less upset. But to straight up be ignored and have none of the staff even look up towards me when obviously noticing my presence was blatantly rude. I’ll probably still be giving them my business whenever I’m around the area simply due to the fact I like their food, I guess next time I’ll know to ask for sugar syrup on my order, and hopefully I can get there a bit...
