Terrible experience - won’t be coming back.
I recently visited this kungfu tea location and had a horrible experience. There were two staff members working, and I ordered quickly at the self-help machine since I had to rush back to work. There was a group of four ahead of me. Usually, I go to the downtown location on Yonge Street, where drinks are always prepared within 2 to 5 minutes, no matter how busy they are. Unfortunately, this location was the complete opposite.
I waited over 20 minutes for just two drinks, and I wasn’t the only one—there were several other customers also waiting for 20+ minutes, visibly frustrated. I noticed multiple empty cups with ingredients sitting on the counter, and the two cashiers seemed clueless and slow, taking their time with each order while constantly checking the recipes. At one point, one cashier just disappeared, leaving the other one to handle everything alone. He seemed in no rush, moving slowly and preparing drinks at a painstakingly slow pace.
To make matters worse, when I finally got my drinks and was about to enjoy them, I noticed that both were significantly underfilled—missing about a quarter of the drink. I understand leaving a bit of space for sealing, but this was excessive, making me feel like I got scammed. After such a long wait, it was disappointing to receive incomplete drinks.
I will never return to this location, and I strongly urge management to step up staff training to ensure quicker service and proper drink...

Upon getting the order, the drink was not slushie based, but mostly liquid like a tea drink. By the time I shook it up it was no slush and just liquid with the pearls settled in at the bottom. I simply returned it and asked about it, but there was no affirmed answer on why it looked that way. No solidified answer (maybe: mixed wrong, machine down or slow because its hot, maybe pearls melted the ice/slush; ANYTHING....) I asked them to dispose of it.
Unfortunately, this was not the greatest experience. It was my first time here, and the customer service was great when it was going good; however, when something had gone wrong, it was stale.
Great workers, but simply no clear explanation, compensation, or consideration.
Hopefully, others don't experience it OR simply don't order the same drink. Additionally the Earl Grey...
Read moreThe app is garbage. So is the customer service in store. No refund option when ordering through the app, no communication through the app what so ever. If the location is out of an item they have no way of telling you... they literally wait until you walk in the door to say oh we are sold out for the day and you have to fight about an in-person refund after them telling you to go through the app... The customer service is brutal. No apologies given. I order from here regularly and my co worker ordered a hot tea and requested milk as she can not drink it black and the shorter guy with glasses smirked and said we are a franchise and do not do that here, she even ofdered to pay for the splash of milk she asked for... are you kidding 3 times I got drinks that were mediocre at best with nothing done about it.
