The staff are incredibly judgemental, their reproachful attitude was palpable from the minute I walked in. I patiently waited to be assisted, despite being one of only 2 costumers in the establishment. After purchasing my $4 croissant (worth at most half that value), I was met with disdain while leaving the store. I was told that “next time, we don’t allow outside drinks”, as if I was sporting a shirt advertising another company. I asked if there was any written policy they could show me, and was rewarded with “no, it’s just company policy”. A company policy that doesn’t apply to their white, middle aged costumers, no doubt. I grew up enjoying La Bamboche macaron, so I wanted to try them to see if they were as good as I remember. I only got one flavour of macaron, Lavender, as it was my childhood favourite. Slightly lavender flavoured cookie with a chocolatey centre, I still enjoy it although I do think they are a bit expensive. The cookie part was fairly flat on one, so it's slightly hit or miss. I also got a chocolate mousse cake. It's a good dessert, and I enjoyed it, but there was nothing incredibly special. I visited this café to relax and get some work done, and it was a great experience. Their coffee menu is extensive and unique, offering a wide variety of options. They also have a big selection of pastries and sweets, which were incredibly fresh and delicious. I ordered a BLT with turkey, and it was both delicious and filling.

The café itself is quiet, cute, and clean, making it a perfect spot for working or unwinding. I also loved the calm music they were playing—it added to the relaxed atmosphere. The staff were attentive and very friendly, enhancing the overall experience.
