🥘 𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗗 🥘

It's 𝗡𝗔𝗔𝗡 of my business where you choose to eat but I still think you should 𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗥𝗬 on over to this restaurant because I would 𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗧(𝗮) this place a 10/10 ✨🤤

-[𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗥 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗜] $𝟭𝟰.𝟵𝟵 🧈 This dish is primarily made up of butter sauce (typically a 𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘰-𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘥 🍅 creamy sauce) 🌿 Seasoned with fresh herbs and spices 🧀 The main star of the show is the Indian cottage cheese though!

-[𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗔 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗔] $𝟭𝟮.𝟵𝟵 🥘 𝘞𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘴 are used in this dish! 🥘 They are cooked in traditional Punjabi masala 🌶 🥘 Typically uses 🧅, 🍅, 🧄, 🌶, and more delicious tasting spices to get the flavorful curry it creates

-[𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗢𝗢𝗡𝗜 𝗖𝗔𝗨𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗟𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥] $𝟭𝟮.𝟵𝟵 🧄 "lasooni" means garlicky 🤩 so it is essentially a dish of sauced and tossed deep fried cauliflower 🌶 Got a bit of a kick to it on top of the delicious sauce it is tossed in 🌿 This version is also topped with cilantro

-[𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗜 𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗡𝗔𝗔𝗡] $𝟯.𝟵𝟱 🌶 CHILI. 🧄 GARLIC. 🫓 NAAN. Need I say more? It is absolutely 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 naan that they offer ✨

-[𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗡𝗔𝗔𝗡] $𝟯.𝟱𝟬 🧄 I used to think this was the best naan flavor out there but please see above 😂 🫓 It is still full of little pieces of garlic and so I find it to be amazingly delicious! 🧄 Definitely a great naan flavor if you want more flavor than just a plain naan

-[𝗖𝗨𝗖𝗨𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗔] $𝟮.𝟳𝟱 🥒 Raita is an Indian dish that consists of chopped up cucumber and yogurt! 🥒 It is often eaten to help people handle the spice of Indian food 😂 🥒 Their version has some ✨ seasonings and spices that make it phenomenal even just on its own

-[𝗠𝗨𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗣𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗢] $𝟱.𝟵𝟱 🍚 This means "peas pilaf" in Hindi (𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘴 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘥) 🌿 Also tossed with herbs spices 🧅 Topped with tiny little onions 🔥

In addition to their food, their service is also impeccable! I once ordered just their Lasooni Cauliflower for takeout last year around Christmas and they honored it 😂 They were a little confused by the fact that that was ALL I ordered but trust me, I would wholeheartedly just order this dish in a party tray all for only me to eat...

After hearing so much buzz about Leela Indian Food Bar on Dundas West, I finally made it there the other night, and honestly, it totally lived up to the hype. Walking in, the place has a really nice, relaxed feel to it – not stuffy at all. I liked the exposed brick and the overall vibe.

The concept of Indian tapas was new to me, but it turned out to be a great way to try different things. We started with the Butter Chicken Sliders, which everyone seems to rave about, and yeah, they were pretty fantastic. The sauce was rich and flavourful, and the sliders were just the right size. We also ordered the Crispy Okra Fries, and these were surprisingly addictive! They had a great crunch and a really nice seasoning. Then, on our server's recommendation, we tried the Lamb Keema Pav. The lamb was so well-spiced and flavourful, and the soft bun was perfect for soaking up all the goodness. You can definitely tell they put effort into the quality of the food.

The service was friendly and efficient. Our server was happy to answer questions and offer suggestions, which was helpful since it was our first time there. It made the whole experience pretty smooth and enjoyable.

Overall, I had a really good time at Leela. It's a great spot if you're looking for delicious Indian food in the Dundas West area of Toronto but want something a little different than your typical curry house. I'd definitely recommend trying the Butter Chicken Sliders and the Crispy Okra Fries. It's a solid choice for a casual night out.

Having now tried both Leela Indian Food Bar locations – the one on Gerrard and this one on Dundas West – I can confidently say this is a must-try restaurant if you're visiting Toronto! Both spots have their own unique charm, but the consistent quality and inventive dishes make Leela stand out. Whether you're exploring the vibrant flavours on Gerrard or the cool, tapas-style experience on Dundas, you're in for a treat. Seriously, don't leave Toronto without...

Caution: Long Review🙂 but well deserved by this restaurant. I would like to thank Google for recommending this Indian restaurant while I was searching for restaurants with dine-in open today after having a swim at Smythe Park swimming pool (another gr8 place to spend summer time with family) . This is by far the BEST INDIAN FOOD RESTAURANT in Toronto and GTA I have tried. And believe me I have tried almost all Indian restaurants in downtown (Bindiya, Host, Butter chicken factory, Bombay palace etc.), All restaurants on Gerrard St (India Bazar), Khao Guli and others in mid town, Adrak, Goa Farm Kitchen, Butter chick, copper chimney and others in Up town as well as most of the popular ones in Mississauga, Brampton including buffet places-Tandoori flame, Brars's, Kwality etc. Mostly the restaurants have 1-2 signature dishes which are really good and guests go for those and have a edible compromise with other items on the menu. That is not the case with Leela Indian food bar. 100% of the dishes and drinks we ordered were well made and delicious-Lasooni cauliflower, virgin mohito, Mango lassi, Kashmiri Lamb roganjosh, Paneer tikka masala and Dal makhni were Perfect and yummiest. Butter naan (with butter u can see) was hands down the best. Pics of empty plates attached to prove how tasty was the food. This place is not very expensive considering the high food quality it offers. Everything is moderately priced. Servers were awesome and very polite. I have found my go to place for Indian food finally!!!. Paid municipal parking is available on Dundas St. Will be going very soon again to try...

I visited them a few weeks ago. We tried Kale Pakora, Kale Spinach Curry and Paneer Makhani with Chilli Garlic naan and Garlic naan. I personally liked chilli garlic naan. The server and the manager were so kind and I will give them 10/10 for their service. I am giving them 4 stars because I think their prices are bit on the higher side as compared to portion or as compared to the other Indian Restaurant and they have a very limited menu.
