Nice shallow Sandy Beach - always feels fresh to be here. You can talk a walk around the park, BBQ with friends, head to the beach and enjoy good time in water. Havnt tried the trek up the bluffs yet, can only imagine how bful it would be, especially around sun set - definitely on cards for next time.
This beach is always lively with beach sports like volley, frisbee π₯ groups and groups having a good time. If you wanna try a jet ski session, ensure you book it ahead in time.
Cons: Since this is one of the best beaches around Toronto, it can get really busy during weekends. Can be very difficult to find parking, public BBQ s or decent spots on the beach side. Just make it early in the day to be easy on yourself. In case you plan to visit the place later in the day, park your car 20-30 mins walk away from the beach and enjoy a good stroll down hill through nature. Just be aware, it can be a good exercise walking...

The place has a marina where you can drop your boat or seadoo in the lake. It lacks the appeal of the Beaches boardwalk or Downton-Etobicoke walking strip but will offer a relatively accessible spot for those summer days... Accessible only by a long, sinuous road with no walkway dropping in a quite uncomfortably steep ramp if you're on a bike. It has washroom facilities and the parking only asks for money in the weekend and after 5pm during the weekdays... Also, lots of families having a BBQ in a designated area makes it an interesting attraction if you plan to see the lake on a summer day and you don't have a friend with a cottage "up north"... Bring your own umbrella, it will be worth it. And don't forget the sunscreen,...

You can't access the bluffs because too many people have fallen off the bluffs because they weren't careful or weren't thinking. They can be dangerous but you also have to use your coconut. So no good lake views from here. There is a school attached to this park with a playground and there are benches to sit on around the park. Unfortunately entitled residents in the area who have dogs let them run loose even though dogs must be on a leash. They don't seem to care and will do what they want. Typical. This park is a pretty decent spot for Urban star gazing a cooler, clear nights. If you get caught crossing the fence you could be charged $5000 so I didn't bother although many people, once again entitled, just don't care and will do as...
