Lucky Dragon Dufferin — Restaurant in Toronto

Haven’t ordered in about 2 years so I decided to order yesterday had 2 orders of chicken balls ,beef and broccoli,orange chicken, Cantonese chow mein and daily combo plate 2 which is fried rice, chicken balls and a spring roll. It was awful all of it maybe except for the orange chicken however the taste was horrible the noodles were overcooked and so soggy the rice tasted burnt the chicken balls some were just fried batter no chicken the spring roll has a weird smell I took one bite but it was awful taste I had to spit it out. I didn’t allow my kids to eat any of it I just threw all in garbage! I was so disappointed as I have eaten from here before and it was good for the price but this time it was the worst I will never go there or order from here ever again. The reward I got from trying each was a trip to the washroom most of the morning coming out...

This restaurant was much better managed when it was Moon Doo. In its days as Moon Doo, owners emphasized a healthier alternative to most Chinese restaurants as they did not use msg in their preparation of food. The staff was also nicer and more welcoming. The current staff seems quite miserable and acts as if you are taking up her time more than anything else. The food now is full of msg as you can taste and feel in its texture. Portion sizes have also suffered in the change of ownership yet the prices have raised a bit. Moon Doo used to be really the 'go to' restaurant in this area as there is nothing authentic around. I hope that this restaurant learns from what made Moon Doo a special little secret...

I’ve ordered from here before - always good food and recommended. But today the delivery didn’t go so well.

My driver was very angry at me for not tipping. I always order online, pay the delivery fee and add the tip online and have never had a problem. It is my assumption tip goes to driver.

However the delivery person insisted that I should give him 10%. Yelled even. When we pointed out the tip on the receipt he got madder and said he doesn’t receive that tip. So now I’m confused.

I was not prepared to pay more and the driver assured me, or maybe threaten is a better word, that next time he would have the restaurant add his $10 tip before delivering it next time.
