My son picked up a frozen package of pea pastizzi as a treat so I cannot comment on the atmosphere or service … although my son did get a lesson on how to pronounce his surname properly, hence the reason for a 3 stars. My husband is Maltese and his brother was the King of pastizzi ! I have made them myself and was so excited when my son brought them home. Unfortunately, impressed, my husband and I were not. There was no meat in the pastizzi… peas yes and the filling of peas was pretty much nonexistent. Only a few had the signature rings that pastizzi are known for. I would have liked to give a better review, but unfortunately cannot.

A lovely little bakery café in Little Malta (The Junction) with a variety of delicious goods baked fresh daily. The shop specializes in Malta's famous savoury pastry, pastizzi. Pastizzi is an awesome little treat that is made of wonderfully flaky pastry filled with ricotta cheese (Other fillings are available). The business has been around for decades and is very popular locally. The owners are very friendly, proud and engaging. Pastizzi is available to eat fresh in-store or take home. You can also buy frozen pastizzi to bake and eat fresh from your oven at home!

The fresh pastizzi are almost as good as my mom's pastizzi... Almost lol. They're better than my attempts at least, and much less labor intensive. Excellent layering of crispy flakes with just the right amount of fight. The cheese filling is seasoned perfectly. The meat filling is savory and deep. They reheat nicely at home, if they make it through the car ride! The bagged frozen pastizzi are also excellent. Follow the directions and you'll have a tasty outcome every time. We've been customers for years and appreciate the consistency and authenticity.

Came here on a whim while in the area today and was appalled by the horrible customer service at this establishment. My mother and I ordered a couple coffees and pastries to go. Not only was the woman at the front counter constantly interrupting us while ordering; but gave us expired milk and when we mentioned it, didn’t even bother apologizing. As if it couldn’t have been made worse, we were given the wrong frozen pastries aswell(with meat instead when we specified veggie and cheese only). We had to come back the next day and again, there was no apology given on their behalf. It’s no way to treat a customer and won’t...

Purchased your frozen peas pastizzi at the No Frills in Innisfil. We don't have anywhere we can purchase in Midland. Had them for the first time at my cousins home for a gathering. The only problem I have with them is that they don't have much flavour. Its not my first time eating peas pastizzi they are actually my first choice. Not telling you what to do but maybe you should ramp up the flavour I am just saying. Ps from what I saw at the No Frills store you should provide more cheese there were still lots of peas for sale. Thank You for carrying then close to my location. Ann Taylor PS I will have to try...
