I am not very familiar with Indian cuisine, so I decided to visit Marigold during Winterlicious so that I could have a little taste of it. The appetizer was Kale Pakora, a veggie fried dumpling that wasn’t anything special. However, the Mango Fish was delicious! The fish was juicy and tender, and the sauce was to die for. Unfortunately, I didn’t like the dessert, a Yellow Lentil Pudding. Maybe it’s just way too far from what I usually expect from a dessert.

We had a lunch here. Ordered Samosa papdi chat for the starters. Matar Paneer, Garlic naan for vegetarian Butter Naan, Aloo Paratha, Lamb Roganjosh, Chicken tikka masala. Matar paneer gravy was so delicious. Paneer was melting in my mouth. Soft and great texture. Non veg was great as well. Little salty but overall it was good. Finally finished our lunch with Masala tea. Worth a shot. .

It was our first visit to this restaurant. They have a nice ambience and the staff is friendly and attentive. We tried their Samosa Chat which was slightly sour due to the curd and chutney but their Madras Fish Curry was delicious. Will visit again.

Lovely, modern Indian Restaurant on Mt. Pleasant. Easy to find. I was there for Winterlicious with a friend. We enjoyed the variety on the menu and found the variety was very good. We shared all items and found ourselves full 1/2 way through the Mains - portions are very good. I ordered the Coconut Lamb Curry on recomendation of the server, he said it was his favourite, and when it came out I could tell why, great big chunks of lamb in a succulent sauce, the lamb was melt-in-your-mouth moist and de-lish. We also had the Saag. It was alright...a good compliment to the lamb, a bit of a reminder of baby food - strained spinach and chick peas, but tasty. Desserts were nice - we did not opt for the plain old vanilla ice cream (bleh) instead we enjoyed Indian sweets. Overall, a very nice experience, one I hope to...

I just ordered the butter prawn dish on uber eats and I'm super disappointed by the quality of the dish. As soon as I opened it I knew it would be bad, it didn't have the color and consistency of butter sauce. It was a deep red and runny like a tomato sauce and there were only 5 prawns in my dish. I took two bites and I had to throw away the whole dish as it was sooooo sweet it was overloaded with sugar. It had no other spices and certainly not a lick of butter or curry paste. It's basically tomato juice with seafood, barf! If I was dining in, I'd send this dish right back to the kitchen an walk out. I'm super annoyed as I had ordered during lunch and now I'll have to stay hungry until I finish work. Please don't dupe customers who are ordering online with dishes you don't know how to make. I feel scammed and...

It's used to be awesome but with every visit food quality is degrading. Paneer pasanda used to be my favorite but now I get different varieties of the same dish. it's getting little pricey for the quantity of the food. Also, the server's don't know what thye have to offer like this time I asked for bread basket and it came with just two plain naan... I asked the one server and she said yes that looks right. But the other server said no looks like it's wrong order and he added the lachha paratha and garlic naan. Also I asked one server if I order the pre order menu for two people can I replace non veg dish with veg ..She said no but the other server said yes you can. Bhut this other server said you get 9nly one naan whereas when I checked their menu it was mentioned I get two but it was too late...
