My daughter's 5th birthday was held here on June 24/23 Sat. The location was perfect for my guests who lived around the area. The Play Place was the highlight, as soon as my daughter arrived to her patiently waiting friends and guests it was a mad dash to the Play Place. The screams of 4/5 yr old boys and girls was not only deafening but practically scared the other customers that didnt know there was a birthday day celebration happening on the other side. The staff was very accommodating, since the AC was not working on our side staff was kind enough to bring out fans to help alleviate the heat. Kate the swing manager took down our 15 happy meal orders and adults as well. She had informed her kitchen in advanced and had delivered the meals right on to our table. We requested extra napkins, trays etc and was generously accommodated. Lucas the acting manager had delegated his crew to help with whatever we may need. He had also taken the initiative to keep the birthday cake safe in their fridge and when I had asked for it, he had mentioned that his crew is about to go to the dollar store to purchase a knife to cut the cake, this was very thoughtful of him and i applaud his attitude, i thanked him kindly for the offer since we were already prepared for it. The blowing of the cake and cake cutting went smoothly, kids scarfed down their meals as hurriedly as they can as to get back into the Play Place. My wife and I had considered other McDonald's location such as the one at Ellesmere and Victoria Park, they have a bigger Play Place but the seating arrangement is limited and it doesnt feel exclusive to guests and celebrant. The price is very affordable and staff was excellent. We did not feel that we were rushed, restrictions are obvious since its open to the public but no staff came out to nag us to be quiet or such. I mean seriously, go tell that to 15 active 4/5 yr olds to be quiet 😂.
*We highly recommend the place for kids birthday. *Discounts on meals *Bring your own banners/balloons etc..
Thank you McDonald's staff at Warden and Sheppard. My daughter and her friends had an awesome, memorable, birthday celebration.
Thank you Kate and Lucas and...

This is my favorite location because of Hilda and the great staff who works here.
Hilda is always very welcoming with everybody, she always treat people with love and respect, she is very caring I never see something like this in other fast food restaurant.
Visiting this location is like visiting your friend, your relative is a very warm environment you feel always good when you visit this location, Maybe you are having a bad day or you feel sad and here Hilda works a very important role and with her smile, her kindness and caring you feel good. ❤️
I have lots of McDonald's close to my house but I choose this location even if I have to take a bus because in here I feel like at home.
Thank you Hilda and all the staff. 🫶
First review 2019:
I give 5 stars thanks to Hilda who is a truly wonderful person.
She puts herself in the customer's place, she always greets everyone and is attentive to everything to always give the best to the customer, even if it is a fast food restaurant where in most of them you just buy and receive your food but here is more than that you feel the good environment and how caring they are with your food.
The first time I went with my son Hilda came up to greet us and gave my son a balloon, she was very kind to us.
In my other visits I have always seen how Hilda greets everyone and she always helps in everything she can, she is different from other store managers that I have met, she is always willing to help and she is always attentive to everything and it is a pleasure to go to this location ❤
I also thanks Hilda for supporting me when I went with my baby and for putting herself in my place and supporting me with my...
Read moreThis morning around 8 a.m., I went to this McDonald’s location and queued at the counter to place my order. There was only one customer in front of me. While I was waiting, a customer who was behind me suddenly stood right next to me. After the person in front of me finished ordering, the female staff at the counter pointed to the person beside me and said, “You came first.” I was completely confused. Ironically, it was that customer who pointed at me and told the staff that I had been there first. Yet the staff still insisted it was the other person who came first. I didn’t want to argue, so I let the other customer go ahead and order.
When it was finally my turn, I ordered 2 medium iced coffees. As everyone knows, there’s currently a promotion where medium iced coffee is just $1 each. But the staff charged me $2.90+ for 2 ice coffee. I showed her the app, let her scan my QR code, and politely reminded her that medium iced coffees are $1 each. However, she insisted that wasn’t the case and responded with clear impatience.
Eventually, a very professional and courteous male manager stepped in. He apologized multiple times, explained that the female staff made a mistake and didn’t know how to use the system properly, and quickly corrected the charge. Meanwhile, the female staff member just walked away—without saying a single word of apology. That’s honestly ridiculous.
Is this staff member fully trained? If someone chooses to work in customer service, shouldn’t they at least have the right attitude? Making mistakes is understandable, but refusing to admit them and not even apologizing is...
