As always food was delivered fast however this time around it was simply disappointing or rather disgusting. We have ordered 4 different sushi rolls plus couple side dishes and after a first bite we knew something was terribly wrong. At a first bite it tasted like smoke after second it seemed plasticy. Got to a fourth and chemical taste in my mouth was unbearable. I called the restaurant and lady answering the phone couldn’t understand what I was telling her so she put the chef on the phone. Within two sentences he knew exactly what I was talking about and told me that they had an “accident in the kitchen”, after I heard that he has to contact the owner and that they will call me back..... that was 7 hrs ago. Obviously that somewhat spoiled our Sunday lunch. Now at 7:30pm $100 worth of take out went straight to garbage. Still no phone call or even a simple offer to replace the dishes.
Extremely disappointed and strongly suggesting for you guys to consider carefully if you want to order from this place. It is very evident that once you pay for your food you are...
Read moreI ordered the Sushi Maki Platter B (36 pcs) because it was listed as a “Buy 1, Get 1 Free” deal. However, my first order was canceled without explanation, and when I reordered, I only received one platter instead of two.
This feels like a scam or a misleading promotion. If the restaurant is offering a deal, they should honor it properly. Very disappointing experience!
———— I saw their reply, but I have checked all related pages and taken screenshots of them, and I couldn’t find any instructions stating that I needed to manually add the free item to my cart.
The product page clearly states “Buy 1, Get 1 Free,” which normally means the second item is added automatically. I also checked the checkout page and other relevant sections, but there were no instructions about this process anywhere.
This kind of unclear promotion is not very professional. Could you please clarify where exactly this information is...
Read moreDisappointing. They are changed like McDonald and they charge you as if it is a fine restaurant. When we were there, there was no server and we had to go to cashier to order and pay. No one comes to you and ask is everything fine? They want to be lazy and save labour fee i thought. Moreover, you are asked to pay tips. It's really fun to pay tips when there were no servers and service. Dishes were served in plastic containers. Quality of its food was worse than before. They even put tilapia sushi in their menu. Tilapia is a not really good fish for sushi. The amount of food was terrible as well. I ordered bento and they gave me very little bit of rice like 3 years old baby's fist. They need go to a good sushi restaurant like Aroha on Rutherford Bathurst and learn something. Whose stupid idea was that to change restaurant like this? I'll never go to this...
