Went to this SO-CALLED restaurant (861 York Mills Rd, North York, ON M3B1Y2) on Aug14, 2025. Ordered gyro meze.
Attended the restroom to wash my hands. It was stinking with the shit 💩 all over the place. Just disgusting! Tried to avoid touching anything. Have they been doing any cleanup and restroom sanitation EVER??? Just horrible!!! Beyond any understanding!
The waitress brought the plate with meal and her thumb was on the edge of the plate which was NOT supposed to be that way!!! They have to use the edges of the their palms CLOSER TO the thumb to take plates and deliver to the customers. I saw her fingers in my plate!!! That was disgusting 🤢 What the hack???? Especially, after visiting their restroom... Well..
They are not wearing gloves to prepare food for you either. I am completely puzzled 🤨 How come???????
Where are those Greek 🇬🇷vibes? Where's the Greek personality to represent? Where are Greek features, and Greek employees??? Where are Canadians in the end of the day???? Where is all that??? I used to live in Greece and it doesn't feel Greek at all!!!
The meat was over-salted. Tzatziki sauce was not authentic at all. This is NOT tzatziki!!! It's a damn mayonnaise stuffed with something else!!! Are you kidding me???? Holly cow!!!!
The stuff is not client oriented at all, at least mentally and culturally they are NOT there! Constantly gossiping about customers thinking they don't hear them behind the counter. Zero respect and educational level leaves much to be desired. Before opening your mouths to say shit about people look at yourself in the mirror 🪞 Look 👀 with all your eyes and attention! It will reflect absolutely everything what you gossip about, because this is just you! OK?
How did they pass the job interview??? Who hired them??? Who interviewed them??? Who trained them??? Is there any training and protocol to follow???
DO YOU HAVE ONTARIO FOOD HANDLER’S CERTIFICATES TO BE ALLOWED TO SERVE PEOPLE WITH FOOD????
FOOD INSPECTION SHOULD SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN WITHOUT ANY POSSIBILITY TO REOPEN IT!!!
That's why, the restaurant is always empty and almost nobody dines in there!!!
I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL! IT IS JUST HORRIBLE!!! KEEP YOURSELF SAFE AND...
Read moreI used to really love this spot and ordered pick up quite a bit. The last few months the quality has gone down. I had a few times where it was not so great but assumed it was an off night. Tonight I ordered and it was by far the worst I have ever eaten. The greek salad had tomatoes that were under ripe and brown bruises that I noticed after eating part of one. It August, tomatoes are in season and should be ripe and flavourful at this time of year. The lettuce was also riddled with brown spots. The tzatziki sauce is now very thinned out and watery when it use to be very thick. I also ordered the Greek fries and they were soggy and gross. The frying oil was clearly cold and did not cook properly but they were served to me anyway.
If I am going to order take out I expect that the food is going to better than what I can make at home. I am disappointed because this place use to be good. I will not longer order food from here. The only thing I might consider buying here is the bottled dressing.
Save your money and eat somewhere else. I didn't even call to complain because I didn't want a free meal or credit offered on my next order because I will not be eating here. There is no concern for the food being put out to...
Read moreExcellent ! BUT !!!! Pork sticks are $3 each and for that price one ought to expect the meat to occupy the whole stick. There's lots of room to put a few more pieces of meat on the sticks at this price. And the pieces of meat are also small. I am so lucky to have lived to eat large portions of meat on a stick in my years. The poor people of today must have no idea what kinds of feasts they are missing. I am Greek and have known Greeks to be great hosts and served great meals in great quantities. FEASTS ! Times sure have changed. A large side of potatoes for $7 is real steap price. Anyhow, this place is great, super nice staff, clean, cozy, food tastes great, clean, but yes i agree with some other posters, expensive. Washrooms are important and very telling of the rest of a restaurant and this place has a nice clean washroom and its very cold outside and unlike many other places these days, it is nice and warm in here. Unlike alot of places with watered down fountain coke or phoney coke, this place uses real coke too. I'd give it the extra star if the portions were larger or the prices cheaper, like $1.25 to $2 per souvlaki or...
