Tarino Pizza — Restaurant in Toronto

I work across from this restaurant and have seen it for the past few months but haven’t tried it before. This is located next to Starbucks.

I spoke with the owner, and they’ve been open for about 3 months. I initially found this restaurant by driving by and seeing the signs, but never had a chance to try them out.

Checked out some reviews and menus and saw very good reviews and had to try them out.

I ordered over the phone two party size pizzas, a meat lovers and a deluxe, and my pick up time was confirmed and ready at the time promised.

When arriving at the restaurant I was greeted immediately and spoke with the owner for a few minutes. I didn’t get his name but he allowed me to take a bunch of photos and a photo of my meat lovers pizza that just came out of the oven.

When returning the two pizzas to my workplace, my co-workers dug in and everyone really enjoyed the pizzas.

The pizza dough is made in house, and is thin, and crisp. The pepperoni that they use is amazing and special, and you can taste the high quality cheese that they use.

Now I see why this restaurant has such great reviews, and I will be returning for sure!! They have a dining area where you can purchase your pizza and eat it there with a bunch of friends. See the pictures I attached to this review.

I really wish I could write a better review as the service was friendly but unfortunately we weren’t a fan of the Pizza at all. A plain Pepperoni Pizza should be an easy one to hit out the park but it fell short on so many levels. The dough and crust were very plain, the sauce and cheese were mediocre and the pepperoni had some weird flavour and spice. I saw all these great reviews and thought they might’ve found something special here but I really have no clue what people are rating this on. Unless their gourmet Pizzas are that much better than their Pepperoni but I can’t see there being much of a difference. I still wish them luck with their business, I guess I’m just not a fan of this style of Pizza as maybe I’ve been spoiled by some of the other top places...

I happened upon this place by chance and I'm so glad I went in! Beautiful ambiance for a pizza place (you can dine-in as well, though limited seating). Very clean establishment. There was a young man at the til who was very polite and welcoming. I ordered the Tarino Pizza and Pepperoni. While waiting for it to be made, the owner instructed the young man to get me a drink while I waited which was really nice and appreciated. When my pizza was ready, the owner ensured the young man opened the door for me as well. These little touches make a HUGE difference.
