Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Toronto

I came here one morning right when it opened... I'm sure it was the asain owner of the store that served me, he also was not friendly at all. Seemed to want my money and get me out the store when I tryed to conversate. While he was making my sub I couldn't help but notice how stale the lettuce looked in the tray, he was grabbing it from the very bottom of the tray and it looked like he dampened it with water to look more moist.. who knows, looked really off to me but I didn't say anything as this is my first time in this store. I get my sub, go home take a couple of bites and had to throw it in the garbage. This was stale bread, days old, vegetables were stale as well and over all awful. I usually go to Mr sub by port union, they use fresh ingredients have fresh bread. I live down the street from this place and I stopped going here after I ordered a Louisiana chicken sub and there was like less than a handful of meat on the 12" sub. After I asked the lady working the counter to add more meat and why is it so little, she simply said that's how much is suppose to be and she looked to be I a bad mood, hmmmmm. Dreadful place! I agree with JS's review from 5 months ago. Very stingy with the toppings. The bread was stale. The fact that the lady had to touch three different breads indicated that the bread was not fresh. The sandwich tasted awful. I also discovered that the meats were not properly covered and I was the only one in the store. Luckily I was not sick. Shame on the owner of this location. Try the Subway at Markham Road and...
