I don’t usually leave reviews, but Chicken Kitchen honestly deserves a shoutout. I’ve been coming here regularly for the past few months, and every single time, they’ve knocked it out of the park. First off, the food is ridiculously good. I’m talking crispy, golden, seasoned-to-perfection fried chicken that hits all the right notes. Their spicy tenders are my personal go-to — crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. I’ve brought friends here who consider themselves fried chicken “snobs,” and even they had to admit this place is top-tier. The menu has range too. Whether you’re in the mood for wings, wraps, sandwiches, or a full combo, they’ve got you covered. I tried the fish and fries on a whim once, and it surprised me in the best way — flakey, crispy, fresh. Even their poutine is a sleeper hit. They don’t cut corners here, and it shows. What really impressed me, though, is the consistency. A lot of places start strong and then fade. Not here. No matter when I go — weekday lunch, weekend rush, or late night — the quality holds up. The staff clearly care about what they do, and it reflects in the food. Also, shoutout to the team behind the counter. They move quickly, stay friendly under pressure, and always make you feel welcome. I had a large order once with special requests and they got everything right, no stress, no mix-ups, just professionalism and a great attitude. The place is always clean, which adds to the experience. And despite the lineups (which honestly say it all), the service is fast and smooth. You’re not waiting forever, even when they’re slammed. Long story short: Chicken Kitchen is elite. If you’re on the fence about trying it, let this be your sign. Skip the fast food chains and treat yourself to something way better — fresh, flavorful, and made with care. As far as I and my family see about this chicken joint is pretty great. Once or twice a month, we spend our time to enjoy the crispy goodness and some mashed potatoes. The service also very nice, there is a down time and good time, which every person has experienced in this life. So dont be harsh to the service. For people who ever worked in customer service, you know how hard handling fast paced business. Overall, this chicken joint is great

CHEAP CHICKEN DEAL! If you ever find yourself in the Scarborough area, specifically in this corner of the city (Lawrence and Markham Rd.) go and check this Chicken stall out. They are located inside the supermarket Skyland Supermarket, tucked near the right side upon entrance along with other fast food stalls. My significant other and I was craving Fried Chicken, as always. and we saw the amazing deals they have to offer. They offer daily deals as do most halal chicken restaurants do. We got the 8 piece combo, which we had a choice of sides, we opted for the Cajun fries, along with 4 biscuits. Drinks are not included. Pros: - CRISPY chicken, thick fried part, which I always love - Chicken pieces are pretty big - Moist chicken on the inside - LOTS of fries - Biscuits included - price is on point, costed us $25.18 after tax for all that Cons: - Fries are a little too soft/soggy - Cajun flavour isn't too strong - Biscuits in my opinion were baked for too long - tasted a little hard Perhaps we got a bad day, since it was so popular, with waiting area and line up, but it was definitely worth the price.

Came here after covid - it’s def not as great as it used to be. The price has significantly increased. They had piles of chicken just sitting. So it wasn’t cooked fresh. Not sure how long the pile was there for. The fries had an odd taste as if they were fried in old oil. Customer service was okay. Went ordered. Waited. received my order. —— Been here a few times now. Food is always fresh. Customer service is great. Location coukd be a tad bit cleaner.

Chicken Kitchen truly exceeded my expectations in every possible way. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the staff, who were not only friendly but also extremely attentive throughout my visit. Their customer service is outstanding—genuine smiles, quick service, and they even checked in mid-meal to make sure everything was good. That level of care really sets them apart.

Now let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal! I ordered a variety of items to get a full taste of the menu, and honestly, every single dish delivered. The chicken was the star, of course—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly grilled/crispy depending on what you get. You can really taste the love and care in the way it’s prepared. I also tried their sides and sauces, and each one was delicious. The rice was fluffy and seasoned just right, the coleslaw was fresh and creamy, and the garlic sauce? Addictive. I could eat it with everything.

One thing I really appreciated is the portion size—they don’t skimp! You get more than enough food for the price you pay, making it not only a tasty meal but great value as well.

Cleanliness is another area where Chicken Kitchen shines. The entire place was spotless. Tables were cleaned immediately after guests left, the floors were tidy, and even the washrooms were well-maintained—which is rare in busy restaurants these days.

There’s also a calm and cozy atmosphere in the restaurant. Whether you’re dining in or taking food to go, the vibe is warm and inviting. I noticed a mix of families, couples, and solo diners all enjoying their meals, which says a lot about the kind of community space they’ve created.

Overall, I’m incredibly impressed. It’s not often that you find a restaurant where the food, service, cleanliness, and atmosphere all score a perfect 10. Chicken Kitchen deserves every bit of praise, and I’ll definitely be coming back again—and bringing friends and family with me next time!

Highly recommended to anyone who loves quality chicken and a great...

I was very conflicted about how to rate this. I give it a 2.5 stars and here's the reason. The food is tasty (macaroni could be better, it taste like perfume) but the rest is good. I LOVE the loaded chicken wrap! My problem is the day that i ordered 4 chicken wraps it took 20 minutes and there was no one there, but because it was so tasty I called again the next day for delivery. When I called the girl on the phone didn't know the answer to ANY of my questions. I asked if they could deliver and she didn't know (there's a sign that says delivery right on their counter) then every single other question I had, she had to put me on hold and ask someone else. Eventually we got to the end of the phone call and gave our address (which she got wrong and I had to give it again) she's then ready to hang up without telling me my total so I ask for it and she says $48+ delivery when it cleary states free delivery. She had to put me on hold again to check and yes, it is free delivery. The food took aawhile to get here and the guy calls to say he's here, we waited a while only to find out he's at the wrong building (they got the address wrong 3 times) finally after all this one of the first things the driver asked for was a tip. I have no problem tipping but to ask as soon as you hand over the food especially after all the confusion kind of threw me off. Long story short, the food (except macaroni) is delicious but the customer service and delivery is not so great. Maybe just go to the store...
