Kebab Kountry in Scarborough is a true hidden gem for anyone who loves authentic, flavour-packed food. On my recent visit, I tried the chicken doner sandwich, chicken doner pide, and chicken doner plate – each one bursting with flavour, fresh ingredients, and perfectly cooked meat. The seasoning was spot-on, the portions were generous, and every bite reminded me why this place deserves attention.
But as good as the food was, the real highlight of my experience was the exceptional hospitality of the manager, Jimmy. From the very moment I walked in, Jimmy greeted me with a warm smile and a welcoming presence that instantly made me feel at home. He took the time to ensure my order was prepared to the highest standards, personally checking on the quality and presentation. It’s rare to meet someone who blends professionalism with genuine kindness so effortlessly.
Jimmy’s attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and commitment to customer satisfaction make a huge difference. In fact, it’s because of him that I’d return again and again. Kebab Kountry is lucky to have a manager like Jimmy – and honestly, the brand should have more people just like him. He’s the kind of person who turns a good meal into a...
Read moreUnfortunately, never again. I came here after a recommendation from a friend. Will probably never come back. Ordered a mixed donair, mixed grill, a pizza, and a beef sandwich. It took them 45 minutes to prepare this order; there were three customers that ordered after us and received their food. Service was extremely poor.
Food wise, their pizza was stale and not worth $15. I believe the pizza was stale because they baked it right away (which sounds great in theory) but because they forgot the rest of our order, it was sitting on top of the oven for 40+ minutes.
The mixed grill and mixed donair were borderline inedible. The chicken was probably the driest chicken we've had. The beef was ok but nothing amazing.
The beef sandwich was the only thing that was passable. And for $8 it's acceptable.
Overall, would I come here again? No.

Read moreExceptionally genuine, friendly and accommodating service. This is a new venture for this family run restaurant and it couldn't suit their nature/personalities better. Essentially, the service makes dine-in a terrific experience. I've been lucky enough to try a good portion of their menu already... and thoughts like "tasty" and "very fresh" jump to my mind in every instance. Moreover, the menu also includes what I see as more 'north american cusine' (eg. hamburgers, pizza (pied), fish & chips etc.) but always with a delicious turkish flair. You'll have lots of flavour combinations to try. Naturaly, this restaurant is not trying to be fine dining... mostly somewhere to grab a quick bite and/or some take out... but you'll be very pleasantly surprised from your first visit... and from then, it almost assuredly won't be your last visit. I'm sure I'll see...
