My wife and I ordered mushkaki fries, the mushkaki chicken burger, and the beef burger. Our first few bites were really nice, and full of flavour. Portion was really good. Our only issue is that I guess we weren't clear on exactly how sweet all of this meal would be. Mushkaki sauce if you've never tried it is like a more subtle version of mac sauce, or harveys sauce. The BBQ sauce is very sweet, to the point it's too sweet to consume. The Mushkaki fries are covered in what seems like a general tao sauce, but much more than you'd even find on general tao chicken because the fries are soaked head to toe.
TL;DR I wouldn't order the mushkaki fries again unless I had the sweet tooth of yogi the bear. Otherwise, the burgers were really enjoyable but still a little bit on the comfort side.
Edit: I would've given a 3, but given covid and everything else going on, me and my wife have gone with a 4. It wasn't bad,...
Read moreReally disappointed in my last couple of trips to mushkaki.
Ordered pasta extra saucy, they charged me extra dollar which is totally fine however they put less sauce than they would when it would be just a regular order (I’ve been eating here for years). They were running low on pasta and stretched the sauce despite me calling two hours before closing as it takes me 45 minutes to drive over.
I also ordered rice and beef strips. The strips are usually charred on the flat top. It looked like they just boiled them and shoved them into the box .
Prices have increased approximately 6-7 dollars for a meal for two people, which again is totally fine because everything is more expensive but the food quality has gotten worse
Tip don’t come here in the last two hours. Hoping these guys take the feedback, try out the place that provides the cake deserts here: D’Amo on Kingston their quality and service...
Read moreI had an unpleasant experience now at this restaurant After I paid for milk cake, the cashier had already placed everything in my bag except for one spoon. He was still holding the bag and just about to put the spoon in when another customer approached. Instead of putting the spoon and giving me the bag and let me leave he stopped, kept holding my paid bag, and served the other customer completely—while I waited, already having paid. Only after the second customer finished did he put the spoon in and hand me my bag.
I found this behavior very inconsiderate. Once a customer has paid, especially that I got just two milk cakes I should have got in my bag and left. without being paused to serve someone else. It’s not a big deal but It felt dismissive, also unprofessional and I hope you respect each customer women or men or a child by finishing their service before moving on next time.
