The hidden gem of Toronto shawarma. It's insanely easy to miss, given its close proximity to Empire and Ghadir, but this is a can't miss spot. The place itself is unassuming. The wraps themselves look unassuming. And then you take a bite out of it, and all of your prior thoughts are thrown out the window. The meat is flavourful, juicy, and well seasoned. That goes for both the beef and the chicken. Couple that with fresh veggies and a healthy amount of tahini and you've got yourself the recipe for a great shawarma. Get a couple of these and you'll be good for a long while. Cheers. Check out @foodpharaoh on Instagram for more food!

There are so many shawarma options in this area but I came back here because the 1st time I was here, the service was so good! The people seem so genuine and really take care in preparing the food! I am on keto so I just had the regular plate with just salad and meat (no rice) and there are so many options for the salad toppings. They also make the salad to order, so thats nice. The hummus must be one of the best I've had. I love the oil that they coat it with. The only thing, is that the hot sauce wasn't hot enough for me. I've definitely found one of my new favourite spots!

I found this place two years ago by accident when looking for a quick dinner, and since then I have yet to find a better shawarma. It has set the bar as far as I’m concerned. I’ve since moved to Oshawa and will still drive back to Scarborough whenever I’m having a shawarma craving. The food is always fresh, flavourful and delicious. The menu has vegetarian options and everything is very reasonably priced. The owner is friendly and helpful, there is lots of room for seating and there is free parking outside. I have eaten here multiple times and will continue to come back!

Bought 5 Chicken Shawarma for $7.49/each, 1 Large Fries for 7.49, and 1 Shish Tawooq Platter for a total of $68.85 including tax for Iftar for a family of 6 on 4th April, 2024. The shawarma skewer looked good so I ordered. But the shawarma and the platter had no taste. The chicken was dry and not recent, the hummus was sour (probably old as well), the tahini was very strong, the entire shawarma had a strong taste of viniger, so much so that you could not sense the taste of chicken and other vegetables. The platter rice was preboiled rice and they put some kind of yellow spice on top of it (turmeric maybe - very very bad after taste). Chicken was dry in the platter and the salad was too sour that I had to put extra salt to just eat it. The only item that was eatable was the fries. This resturant was owned and operated by a Syrians but its sold to new owner who are Indian. Unfortunately of no fault of their own they cannot make or bring the taste of middle eastern food. They tired to make the thahini, hummus, and pickle but taste is very strong . They don't seem to know how to bring the taste through mixing with the right proportion. Chicken marination is also not done well and chicken was not cleaned well before cooking. This is the third shawarma place I went to (shawarma daddy and Empire Shawarma) that have been bought by Non Arab and the have completely destryoed the taste. I usually leave the place if see the shawarma skewer is not moving and or the chicken/meat is dry but this one looked ok so I ordered. It is the worst shawarma we ever had and just greatful that we didn't get sick. I would be more carefeul next time and and would probably speak to the owner face to face to find before I order again from any Shawarma Resturant. I would give the food a negative 5 but the lowest rating I can give is 1. Please avoid this place especally if you are used to real shawarma

Additional Note: I did get sick for two days as the food was our Iftar and I couln't take medicine duriing the day due to fasting. Also, it could be that these people are selling Non - Halal meat and chicken labeled as Halal. Something was way off not just the taste as I don't get sick due to eating food even if its bad tasting. I REPEAT - PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE FOR...

Amazing Shawarma – Fresh, Flavorful, and Worth Every Bite!

I recently visited NASIBS’s, and I have to say, this is easily one of the best shawarma spots in town! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff was incredibly polite, helpful, and quick to take my order, making the whole experience enjoyable.

Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely fantastic! The shawarma was cooked to perfection, with juicy, well-seasoned meat that had just the right balance of spices. I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap, and every bite was packed with flavor. The garlic sauce was creamy and rich, complementing the savory meat perfectly. The veggies were fresh and crisp, and the pita was soft and warm, holding everything together beautifully.

The portion sizes were generous, making it a great value for the price. I also tried their hummus and falafel on the side, and they were just as delicious—smooth, flavorful, and clearly made with fresh ingredients.

Overall, NASIB’s exceeded my expectations. Whether you’re a shawarma lover or trying it for the first time, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming...

On behalf of IKEA STC, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Nasib's for the absolutely wonderful food and thoughtful preparation. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented — our entire team was extremely happy and appreciative.

We’re especially grateful that you offer halal options, making it inclusive and enjoyable for everyone. That extra consideration truly goes a long way.

For some of our team, this meal was more than just lunch — it was nostalgic. Many of us have been coming to Nasib's since our high school days, and it was such a warm, familiar experience to enjoy your food again. It brought back great memories and reminded us why we’ve loved this place for so long.

A special thank you to Mohammad and the entire staff for your patience, kindness, and exceptional service. Mohammad, your willingness to go above and beyond did not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciated how smoothly everything went thanks to your support.

We will absolutely be ordering from Nasib's again. Thank you for making our event a memorable one!

Warm regards, The...
