OLD.K CHICKEN BURGERS (North York) — Restaurant in Toronto

I have lived here in Willowdale for 11.5 years and only once ate at The Chicken Place tasting their chicken sandwich. old.k was established in 2016 and really, I did not have a chance to try them out with all the Popeyes, Jollibee, KFC and various Korean Fried Chicken places around the town. Today was the day! Ordered easily on the website and went for pick-up. Went with the mild Classic Chicken sandwich and it did NOT disappoint at all. I was so impressed. Karrage chicken 🐔 filet was crispy, crunchy and tender with abundant delicious mayo and a soft bun. And a hint of a kick. Mmm! What would be cool if the sandwich had pickles and an alioli sauce too. Also, the chicken colour itself is a bit on the pink side but don't be alarmed, it is fully cooked and so tender. Fries were definitely forgettable and did not look like the picture on the website. Would be skipping these. Fries also were not filled to the top and was $4.50. We used the 20% off coupon which was awesome so pretty much the disappointing fries were free. I will definitely going back for this Nashville sandwich in the future and add some condiments at home to make it even better!!...

The place gives you a free soft drink if you give them a 5-star rating on here, so watch out for the reviews as they can be deceiving. Ordered a combo 1 and a Orlean chicken sandwich. Fries tasted like it was frozen fries you buy from walmart with some seasoning, both chicken sandwiches were so greasy, the piece they used for the patty had so much uncut fat, and to make it even worse the chicken was not even cooked enough. Right after eating I started feeling nauseous and the day after, I woke up to pain coming from my stomach, hopefully I did not get salmonella. Food is horrible, we had to go get mcdonald’s after since we couldn’t finish the uncooked sandwiches, service is careless, we were given 2 napkins for 2 people and when I asked for more the guy was hesitant, he gave us a few napkins as if like napkins cost millions of dollars. We went for dine in where the tables and the whole place was dirty and messy. I use to go there but now they have just let go of everything, will not be coming back to...

This is hands down the BEST fried chicken I've ever tasted in my life! The golden crust shatters perfectly with each bite, revealing piping hot, juicy meat that's seasoned all the way to the bone.
