[Accessibility Warning! Do NOT go to their IMAX theatre if you require steady, comfortable seats!!] It's larger than I thought it would be. But their IMAX theatre 1 has the strangest rocking chair seats ever. Super uncomfy. Literally chairs like rocking chairs where they swing back and forth slightly and you can't really control it unless you have long legs. Sadly, I don't have the longest legs (I'm 5' 5") and my feet couldn't touch the ground. I have a condition where my muscles and joints are weaker than most. So I got a lot of discomfort and pain from sitting through the ads and left before the film started. I won't be going there again as that seat caused a lot of pain. I'm not sure about their other seats, but I've never experienced this at a cinema before anywhere else. I think like one place maybe in Seoul, Korea? But it was just really cushiony and my feet touched the ground. They also offered foot steps if you wanted one which this place does not (they should). Staff was friendly. They would've given me a refund, but I couldn't get one cos I didn't have the credit card used on me. Edit: My friend who went with me just came back from watching the film, and is aching in his back and legs, and in a lot of pain stated there's definitely something wrong with those seats. Read moreI never leave reviews - but such rudeness requires it. Absolutely terrible condescending and combative experience with Daniel (the manager?) over a question I wish I never asked. My kids got the game credits stuff and the dancing game is so old with the screen barely functional - and all the floor lights out. So none of them could actually use it. I made a terrible mistake of asking if there was any way to get those credits back so that my kids can use them on a game that works.
It wasn’t about the eight credits, it was about the attitude I saw not only an approach, but also in handling the matter in a very disrespectful way resulting in him simply walking away. Maybe it’s appropriate to treat people like that, but not paying customers at an entertainment establishment. I understand everybody might have a bad day, but taking it out on the clients and suggesting that they are stupid and incompetent, should not be allowed in such a large change. I came to have a good time with my kids, so will not focus on it, and told him the credits don’t even matter if he had simply smiled and said oh, sorry, yeah, the lights are out but it’s hard to return them. I have no problem, and I told him that right away. I guess those a credit caused this location a reputation because if the manager feels entitled to create a problem, instead of solving one, I sure hope other departments are a lot...
Read moreI have watched a lot of times at this location for the past years and it was okay. It is not as lively as the other cineplex locations. I am mainly writing a review for this specific location because when I tried to ask the employee for help why the machine is not validating my parking ticket and showing an error message, he was not friendly. He had a serious demeanor that it felt like it was a nuisance that I was asking him for his help or what to do. He said not to place it next to my phone (which is a lesson learned for me) but how could I know? This is the first time it happened to me, I parked at many paid parking lot that required tickets, and I have never had issues like this. I validated the parking ticket after the film and it was not placed closed to my phone. My bag had two different pockets, they were in separate pockets but I guess it still did mess up the ticket. I am still thankful to him because he said I could talk to the intercom at the parking exit and tell them I watched a movie and they would let me out. I just had to ask him what to do before telling me this. Giving 3-stars because the rest of staff that I encountered with whether at the concession or entrance/exit of the theatre rooms provided good customer service.
